Dont rush to buy Sri Chakra or Sri Yantra...if you has past life link to Sri Vidya devis the Sri chakra will come to you at the correct time. Also be mindful of placement of the sri chakra if you have it in the house...the lower 5 triangles called Shakthi traiangles should face you or downards. The upper 4 triangle known as Shiva triangles should face upwards away from you for normal people. It's only for saints, yogis etc would prayer facing the shiva chakras..

The safeguard is that you should learn yantra saadhna from an experienced teacher (guru/acharya etc). And it makes sense. If you're going to spend time doing things that took hundreds of years to fine-ture, why not learn it from the teachers? Think of it this way- If you want to become an electrician who works with 480 volt (or 1000 volt) power, it is best to learn from an experienced electrician for your own safety and well-being. Similarly, if you want to learn Sri yantra saadhna, it is best to learn from a teacher for your best well-being.

As a MOTHER, no maa will have a negative effect on her bhaktas. Plus Lalitha Sahasranamam is Maa Lalitha Devis 1008 names. It's quite lengthy one & one need a lot of patience & focus to be able to concentrate on the names. Rest assured believe in Maa. Bhava (loose translation - intent) is most important.

Just Chanting Name of the any god with pure bhakti bhav brings miracles in life...For example, Valmiki, before becoming Maharishi Valmiki, started chating"mara" which means tree in Kannada, which finally became "Rana" and he got divine blessings of Lord Shree Rama...

​@@SoupA150first don't place it in car or at any place where other non family member can see it ,second if it is not activated it will make no difference most of the time but rarely it can be possible some sort of negative energy would take abode inside of it ,but it rare but can happen ,so why take chance ,and third if someone have sri yantra one can do simple Laxmi pooja with that ,with simple naam mantra that's it , doesn't complicate it if you don't have time ,and if you make it activated with all srividya mantras and trantras by yourself aur with the help of certified and experienced guru aur sadhak then make sure your first priority is sewa of sriyantra everything comes after that because after activation now there are so many energies which are waiting

If the yantra is energised ...just chant Sri Lalitha Sahasranama daily . Make sure you know how to place the Sri yantra correctly. If you look at the centre, there will be a dot.its called the bindhu mandala. you will see 4 upwards facing triangles and 5 downward facing triangles.for those in family life, you should be facing the 5 downward triangles. Only saints, sanyasis, gurus sit and face the 4 upward triangles.

Well, I come here to Learn. I would like to hear more about this topic but also from other guests as well. I mean with Mantras and The Yantra etc. I feel this should be explained very clearly in regards of how to avoid any negative effects. If any. I mean it's very important. The way I see it from my personal experience is that any negative effects that may occur are ultimately for our own benefit or understanding. So sometimes the lesson may not be one we wanted. Yet still we learnt it. Possibly in this way. I am only a human but always learning. I feel overall the benefits outweigh any negatives. Plus of course there are many schools and levels of understanding about this. I have been taught that mantras are fine for anyone and it seems to be the case. Maybe it depends on which mantra also. I feel they ultimately have great benefits and work if you believe it or not. I really dont like any spreading of fear around it. Which seemed to happen here. It can be avoided with a clearer and more in depth explanation. I remember your guest who did the Shiva Mantra with you. The European guy. I forgot his name. He was great though. He explained how it's for anyone and very simple to do. There was nothing to worry about. Just like that. Anyway. I appreciate your information, but I would like to see more information on how to prevent any potential negative effects. Plus perhaps any examples would help. Also clearly how to avoid it if this is the case. I appreciate it all. Plus yes, I would also like to hear from others on this topic. Just in order to compare their insights, knowledege and experience about it. Thank You.

Just in addition. I feel overall it's better to do a mantra than not to do it out of fear of any negative consequences. I really feel it needs much more explanation. Also if I recall correctly, speaking respectfully, your guest did on another podcast episode give or mention a mantra that anyone can do. Without any warnings etc. I don't mean to go on too much about it. Just as someone who practices quite a bit of Mantra myself. I feel these points are very very important. I feel we should be encouraging people to do mantras. Not scaring them out of it. Thank you again.
