All sikhs groups were fighting with each other and finally Dilip Singh had to go England where he accepted Christianity and Kohinoor was also snatched from him. Rajputs were weak in British era. They had fought A lot already. Marathas were also weak as they had 1761 panipat 3 war. So there is nothing extra ordinary doing by sikhs. Yes guru Gobind Singh and bnaada Bahadur did well

I had read about this battle a few years ago. Guru Gobind Rai had the support of Pathans and a Pir. The kings bought over the Pathans to their side and Guru saheb was left with only the Sikh followers and the Pir who lent him his two sons as a form of repentment of the betrayal of Pathans. When battle happened, the Pathans were pushed ahead as the front line of attack. Their leader was Hayat Khan who got killed by another Guru in the Sikh army. As soon as their leader fell, the Pathans left the battle and fled, leaving the two sides stranded. One of the kings and several Gurus had died by then. Guru Gobind Rai and Bhim Chand entered a mutual understanding to end the battle. Bhim Chand later visited the Guru to establish good relations with him and apologize for his actions.

The ranbanka rathore rajputs were the first one to give formal military training ( shashtar vidhya) to the sikhs, Raja Maan singh donated his personal bungalow for the creation of Gurudwara Bangla sahib, even the golden temple is influenced by rajput architecture among others,also Banda singh Bahadur, General Zorawar singh Kahluria, Sardar Bajjar singh rathore and many prominent sikh warriors were of rajput origin only, even Nihang sikhs of today respect the rajputs and rajputs too have a lot of respect for sikhi, the ties between the rajput community and sikhism are very old so stop trying to divide us by using such titles for views.
