I somewhere think that narrating such incidents is more painful than facing them at that time.. because then they were there with an ultimate goal in mind to stop the massacre and shoot or catch those terrorists but now when these eye witnesses, whether a civilian or a armed force personnel narrates it , there is a flashback of all those dark moments.. So first salute to Sir for narrating the story to us ( as I can feel there were moments where Sir controlled his emotions and continued with narration) and then to all those who were martyred during that struggle... Maharashtra Police was outgunned and out maneuvered . They had probably never dealt with such a situation before. Whenever I think of those days and that attack, I stand up to salute the Maharashtra Police for their tenacity and outright gallantry in dealing with this attack. These Police Officers fought back viciously when their city was attacked . And they fought back with whatever little resources they then had ..................... but fight back they did

I'm not Marathi but he's my hero too. Moreover I still feel the helplessness and pain of Marathi folks because I can't even imagine that how frustrated and helpless you feel when your home Mumbai is bled through numerous Bomb attacks. And the attackers got every legal help from the government to defend their heinous deeds. As well as insensitive gatherings to whitewash these attacks by calling them "planned by RSS and Hindu-allied or it was the rich people who got hit not the poor folks".
