I think it's really important that they specifically focused on MEN in therapy. When I think of the people in my life, most of the cis women (as well as literally every trans person I know) have done therapy. But almost none of the cis men ever have. There's such a stigma around men having and expressing emotions, and that definitely plays into why so many men are resistant to therapy. I'm not saying therapy isn't stigmatized overall, but in my experience, it's men who are most likely to avoid therapy due to that stigma.

Why should the therapist's children go to therapy just because their parents are therapists? So if that's the only reason, I would be happy if someone could explain it to me. I think therapists in particular know how to create a healthy foundation and know which aspects of development are important, right?
