I hate juice world reaction videos. It's always a sad pity party reaction. Awwww! Oh no! Awww! You are on the verge of changing my mind about hating them. For me it is because you are listening to the music like a true juice world fan would. Every single day I spend hours listening to nothing but juice world. Don't watch any television or movies. Only juice wrld. Everyday this entire year I have spent hours watching the same freestyles and discovering any new content I can. And when I have come across something new I would imagine I look exactly like you do. I think a lot of people who do reaction videos just want the views. They aren't doing it to try to understand what he had going on inside of him or how fans can truly relate.

Plug means drug dealer, so he ran out of drugs and couldn't even get any more. Another great reaction. He was fighting a battle inside himself, even though he was surrounded by many people, he still felt alone. I doused myself in so many substances and anyways I am grateful for such a great therapist I have and also Juice Wrld was an amazing artist and this album and his music speaks to me on so many volumes. A therapist reacting was a smart move because we need more mental awareness. Life is difficult man, and Juice was suffering a lot. I remember falling in love with his melodies and sound when he dropped agats in lyrical lemonade. But at the time I wasn't conscious of life's hard truths, intrinsic physical pain, mental agony, death, objective meaninglessness, and was a just a kid enjoying good music. Now, almost 5 years later, I understand exactly what the fuck he was talking about because I'm undergoing the same things myself. I'm not optimistic, feel impending doom, and consequently give in to vice and meaningless pleasures to forget about the shit for little while. It's difficult to reconcile with and not be affected by the unnecessary sufferings and evils present in the world; everyday there are people getting murdered, raped, dying of cancer, and suffering a whole fucking lot in silence and behind closed doors. But we distract ourselves a whole fucking lot to not think about that shit, to not think about the fact that your parents and friends and yourself are going to die and suffer a lot at some point, not think about death, knowing that it's immutable and bound to happen at some point, and that we don't know what the fuck happens afterwards. In Juice's lyrics, especially his unreleased stuff, he often references the anthropomorphic God, references metaphysical uncertainties like heaven and hell and spatiotemporal entities like the devil and god, and implements biblical allegories while doing so. Juice was just aware, too aware, and overly conscious about the state of things and the future sufferings that await and are bound to happen, which is why he turned to drugs and meaningless pleasures. I do it too, all the time. And despite having clear conceptions of virtue and vice and knowing what is morally right for me to do, I do the complete opposite. And I do it out of spite, out of impotence, because I'm conscious of base reality and know that it's not pretty. But we do not make it any easier for ourselves either; we make it more difficult and create limited and unfulfilling systems that indocritrnate and encourage docility and obedience and servitude, that encourage egoistic striving and greediness, corruption, nepotism, systematic oppression to get ahead, that will trap you and purposefully aim to keep you within them. I'm just rambling, but it is what it is. And Juice knew what it was, which is why his mental agony and depression made life unberable. I'm sad to say a similar fate awaits me. I cannot reconcile with objective meaninglessness and the lack of a God, the suffering, the chaos, and the absurdity. At this point, my hopes of living virtuously, optimistically, and actualizing my potential are gone. I don't have the will to strive. I tried living stoically, unemotionally, and sort of accepting shit and doing what's within my power to reduce suffering and make it better for myself, but shit's just more difficult and it gives you a false sense of control. I just don't know man. It's overwhelming.

Juice mentions Jesus in one of his songs on the album. I can totally relate to you, man. Jesus and Christianity is not about religion, but about having a father, God, and individual relationship with Him that loves you. We weren't made for this world and why we always feel out of place. Look into some biblical teaching and lectures and even some Jordan Peterson who is a world renown psychologist and even he speaks on the importance of the God of Abraham and Jesus in our lives. You'll get through this man. Keep searching and finding your daily bread that God provides which means and includes the shelter over your head, the food you get to eat daily, and the warmth and love of your family and friends. God bless, man. Take care and seek some help, all we can do is help one another and sometimes helping others with a little shows how much you actually have as a blessing to you. ✌🏽🕊

I been very low and struggling with immense depression, ADHD, BPD, and suicidal ideation and these songs keep me in that place, but some of the topics such as substance abuse to numb the pain, and heartbreak/love, helplessness, emptiness, etc. are so relatable they send more than just chills or a shiver down your spine. I think an important aspect of this conversation is being overlooked. The artist's intention for this album was to bring the impact of mental health issues to the forefront- especially for POC, whose culture is largely dependent on denying the reality of trauma in their lives; whether we try to recognize our trauma within the self or the household dynamics, or the harsh environmental conditions that we're disproportionately subjected to by our society. Each of these factors are largely out of our own control. That is what being disenfranchised and marginalized means. We're "cursed since birth," in that regard- and are also taught and pressured by our parental figures to deny ourselves not only the truth of our circumstances but also culturally shamed away from many outlets for recovery; especially therapy let alone psychiatric medicine. Juice said his mother told him over and over that his happiness was within the church and nothing else- which is simply not true. The next most commonly known remedy for "pain" is drug abuse- and unfortunately it's the most accessible resource known to the general population as effective in any regard. Anything is better than nothing when you're deprived enough, and drug abuse is normalized, televised and (inadvertently) advertised in our country. I noticed that people will substitute whatever they can acess in order to address their pain- whether physical, mental, or both- even if the drug they chose does not truly treat their symptoms. In this case, prescription pain pills were being abused because of how much mental and emotional pain Juice was trapped in. With therapy and mental health meds being extremely taboo in the black community, and the church not being a healing environment for everyone led to the many traumatized people in this country to seek relief by any means. Caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol abuse are culturally accepted, normalized, imitated/advertised, and therefore encouraged in general society. Substances and prescription- grade drug abuse are televised/imitated and therefore advertised and encouraged in our society. *Not an argument supporting censorship; just making a point about human psychology.* There is very little encouragement, instruction or education about the traditional medicinal uses for the drugs we use every day. Everything is presented with a specific agenda, and when, for example, caffeine abuse is being presented to us as a normal/healthy/acceptable behavior, then more people will buy more coffee. Same situation applies to every drug/substance- legal or not. Prioritising profits over the collective health of the Americn populus is why we have an epidemic of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, and a SYMPTOM of the epidemic is drug abuse. Combine that toxic culture with unequally priced medical care and you get a self-maintaining system of internal destruction.

Already Dead has become my favourite Juice song… I don’t know why exactly but the lyrics ‘I’ve been running out of drugs and hope, I don’t even got a plug no more’, is so potent to me. It’s like he’s exhausted all options and his habits becoming insurmountable then; he’s realised it’s at the point where it’s crippling him, he’s lost all control, and he knows inevitably it’s going to kill him. It’s almost like he’s a spectator of himself and his perishing existence at this point, he’s watching himself fade away. And after all they say ‘hope dies last’, once hope is gone, all is lost. And that’s the tragic end Juice Wrld fundamentally met.

When I sent this to Juice I was in a bad place. I honestly didn’t know how much he was addicted to stuff. I’m thankful that Jarad.

"I dont even got a plug no more" means that he has no one to sell him durgs (a plug is a drug dealer) thats why he said in the line before that that he's out of drugs

He was reffering to his drug dealer when he mentioned the plug. However, he could also be reffering to his girlfriend being gone when he mentions running out of hope (she was his plug or provider)

When he say “i dont even got a plug no more” hes saying that theres no one/ nothing giving him his drugs and giving him hope its a really sad line

The word "PLUG" in the song was Juice meaning that he has no drug dealer anymore at this point. Nothing is strong enough to heal him so he has no plug, he has no dealer to make him happier or feeling better.

That’s why I love juice most of what we hear is freestyle of the head, so it’s like listening to his real time thoughts. And if you can relate to those thoughts the music is therapy, warning, advice all in an amazing song 🖤🖤🖤999 🇬🇧

A plug is slang for a dealer who has the type of drug hes looking for. Somebody whos able to "plug" you with the right stuff. People will say "i gotta plug for coke" or "whos the weed plug"

Awesome reaction man! I like how you see all the details in his lyrics. I suggest "Empty" and "Robbery" (perhaps a music video for robbery because there are few things that connect really well with lyrics).

He did have loving people around him like his mother, girlfriend, some close friends but I feel he had been struggling with inner demons from a very young age and never quite managed to deal with them in a less destructive manner. He saved millions but couldn't save himself.

By the way, almost none of his music was actually written. He would go hang out with producers in a studio, they'd play him beats, and he'd walk in the booth and adlib a song off the top of his head. There are reportedly hundreds of songs he recorded in this way. I'm sure he would have some lines in his head already just memorized waiting for the right song to use them on, but for the most part his music was all stream-of-conscious off the top of his head. He made the song Lucid Dreams (which has almost 800 million views on KZbin) in less than half an hour off the top of his head. All of this at only 18-20 years old, as he died shortly after his 21st birthday. Just imagine the quality of the music he would've been making at 25 or 30.
