couple things that might help you: -lorewise the yellow flowers dont grow in dema (nothing grows in dema to be fair, but anyway) which means he got those from the outside. Those flowers represent in fact each escape attempt, as we can see in both Jumpsuit and Nico and the Niners music videos aswell (Tyler has a yellow flower on him at the end of Jumpsuit video before getting dragged back to the Dema unconscious, same flower that he still holds in his hands at the beginning of Nico and the Niners. He will then put said flower away, in his little desk drawer that already has 4 more in it, making it 5 flowrs in total. 5 failed escape attempts). -in that scene when tyler is sitting with the bishops' cloaks hang behind him you counted 8 cloaks, which is right, but the bishops are 9. A couple seconds later, at 9:10 we can see josh sitting at his drums with a bishop standing behind him in the corner of the room. -the lights used for the rooms are either blue (defeat) or red (blurryface). Also it looks like white is a pretty recurrent color for this song (white logo on josh's drum, white stripe on tyler's pant, the shirt, the jacket etc... Fairly Local from the past also featured a lot of white in his MV which also takes us to our next point: -at 6:19 when he sings "I'm keeping my eyelids up, no mattеr what" he's also wearing red contact lenses, just like he did in Fairly Local MV. Also this line is a reference to The Outside "I've got a long drive, I'll tape my eyes so I don't fall asleep again" and if you ask me is also a reference to Overcompensate "Don't sleep on a boy who can't fall asleep twice". He did fail to "stay awake" in the past, which led him inside Dema. But he fell asleep once, he's not gonna fall asleep twice AKA he's not going to make the same mistake again and he will stay awake, he wont let Nico get over him again. We actually already seen this falling asleep as in defeat and awakening as in actually fight back with the Sleepers Serie back in the days of the Blurryface era: Twenty One Pilots released 5 videos that were pretty much a wrap of their tour. Each video was also related to a picture of an eye that was progressively closing, all the way to the 5th video where the eyelid completely closes on the eye. On the other hand at the very beginning of the Trench era we had an eye (from a volture, Clifford probably) progressively opening up. Last but not least we also have the very beginning of Jumpsuit, the music video, "We've been here the whole time. You were asleep. Time to wake up", followed by the fire igniting again. All of that just because tyler needed to take a 3 years bath (IYKYK)

Everything about the track and video is giving us the best clues to what has been plauging Tyler this whole time... I keep thinking of folks i know that have PTSD and their struggles to sleep and then if they do ...waking them is very hard. The whole album is mental health anthems with every track. 21 Pilots are REAL heros. 😢❤

In my 32 years this is the first only time I learned what REM is for. I thought its just for dreaming. Now I know why I feel more depressed when I dont take my sleeping pills, and feel okay everytime I dream. Thank you! ❤

I enjoy the therapist perspective but what I feel like what’s been there throughout is that Josh is a rock for Tyler. It shows up repeatedly and in the lore that Josh is the guide, the constant.

I mean…. I love all of this. Loved when they took over NBC 30 Rock for a true Routines in the Night look on Fallon, loved the Livestream, love your reaction ….. but I will never not laugh when they snap back and Josh is eating cheezit and always like “what? Oh, you’re done talking now” It’s the MIdwest Indigo look “I’m here, Jims in the front seat, what’s your drama look” ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I love it and get it. Sometimes im the josh and sometimes im the Tyler

I think I finally found what this album is about😱, this album is showing Clancy before he is caught in Dema, his purpose and all of it, it's basically the character development... that's why there's no Dema in the videos... That's just my insight so far...

I’m so bummed that your shirt is not in your merch!!! I need it!! Also. Again, will you be my therapist??? Can’t seem to find one in my small town… my last one literally left her practice and moved out of state without informing me….patient abandonment.. when I found out I texted her and she was like - yep I’m gone. No referral to someone else, no “how are you”? And this women was the counselor that worked with our police department on major scenes etc. so she was highly qualified- i researched her after my first try went wrong trying to get help, waited a long time to get my courage up again. She “ diagnosed” me clinically depressed with suicidal ideation…a lot of it stemming from my chronic illness and feeling hugely unimportant, unseen, easily forgotten and abandoned- no joke-then she abandoned me…..talk about a mind f%#€. She validated my deepest feelings. Soooo literally these guys are my therapy. I literally get goosebumps over most of Tyler’s lyrics because they seem to have been plucked straight out of my head. Word for word. At least I know I’m not alone. So- can you be my therapist???

Not sure if anyone mentioned this…only 8 bishop robes in the closet. There are always 9 bishops….To me that is an Easter egg for Paladin Strait vid. Cannot wait for that and your reaction to it!

i definitely think you should react to “never felt so alone” by Labrinth he’s an amazing artist who sang the soundtrack in the show euphoria and his music is so powerful and moving you should definitely check him out! xx ♥️
