The reaction you had hearing the "Mom and Dad ain't showing up" bar, is a great example of why i love watching you. Him saying that choked him up, choked you up. That is an empath, that's someone who feels and who loves. Big Respect man

The reason these guys are so popular is because we vibe, maybe not everything, but much of what they say about family and life and the feelings about not being able to change because this is where we've been our entire life, the first 15 years just felt like a rollercoaster I couldn't get off of, the next five I was angry and just a long for the ride, already going down so I might as well have some fun, and now I'm strapped in, the best part is everyone around you "trying to help" but the mountain of problems just keeps growing and a shoulder to cry on is only that, when you ask me "what's wrong" it truly is everything, not to mention most people prefer to antagonize instead of actually help, if I wasn't taught how to be for the first twenty years of my life I actively do not give a single fck anymore

“Why do people not think $ui$Yde boys make good music?” I can tell you as someone who has both liked it and not, and also someone who’s gone through a lot of similarly themed stuff. Basically people interpret it differently depending on where they are or have been in life. The lyrics that made you say this “worse part of me is..a me I don’t remember” has profound meaning to me but I could also understand hearing it without being prepared and just thinking it’s trying to make getting F’d up cool. In a really weird(not actually) way it kinda is though, but it’s moreso just cool bc it makes sense and dude was able to transform it into art that’s valuable and meaningful that actually makes it cool. But on another side of music, a lot of ppl don’t listen to lyrics for meaning they only listen to feel hyped up, interestingly enough in a very similar way to how they speak of addiction while ignoring the lessons within! Lil long winded I know.. 💀

This whole album is SO good! I wonder if you ended watching the Boys on that interview/podcast whatever recently. I always felt their lyrics but man they said so many things that just hit home hard. These guys are so real, I will never understand the hate and idc if many out there just cannot relate.

Im gonna be a little vulgar, but Tom you're fucking funny. I love how you grew more comfortable and how over time you became a super fan. I fell in love with the message and lyrics, the beats are just an extra cherry on top. You are the best at breaking down and seeing what they mean lyricly and if you don't get a certain lyric you give an open interpretation to learn from us in the comments. You are like the dad i wish i had, able to give good advice and listen to my favorite music group. Another grey(t) song and reaction. Yeupp!

Ignoring the oxy part was a bit unsettling & unexpected. Was really hoping for at least SOME for attention since they almost go hand in hand, including the xan bars, etc. Is what they preach is what has them ‘prisoner’, reason for being alive (in what I believe is there perspective after analyzing the lyrics & in the context of it too, of course.
