One thing that has helped me to stop many panic attacks or at least lessen them is when i started feeling the panic come on i close my mouth and breath thru my nose, no matter how uncomfortable it feels. It slows breathing down and help me from hyperventilating which always escalates the symptoms. I have had panic disorder for almost 35 years!

Thank you! 🙏🏼 I have used the cold water immersion method, I find that immersing the wrists and applying water to the back of the neck is also helpful. Using a theragun or a similar product to release tension can also help. For me, yoga and jogging play an important role in managing my anxiety and panic as well. Breathing techniques are hit or miss for me. The sour candy tip is brilliant and one I will certainly implement.

Wonderful tips! I have never tried the sour method- I’ve used weighted objects- and EFT tapping -“butterfly method”. And also love drinking cold water - have not tried dunking or splashing my face with cold water. Usually it is in public places or car rides when they occur. Thank you for sharing these!

Hi there! I was wondering if you had a video or know why we have thoughts that try to scare us. I've recently started dealing with this. I feel like I am trying to make myself feel afraid to the point of going into a panic attack...

Hello doctor. This is Anuja, a student of class 12th. I'm facing mental illness from class 10th. It was very slow in class 10th but at the end of year, it became strong. I don't want to be at home, with my family except my parents and elder sister. I have strong hate for literally all relatives. A Single person can be bad but how all relatives could be bad equally? I am suffering through more continuous mood offs, panic attacks, depression and silent panic attacks from last year. But my parents never give it any importance and when I told my sister that I should take treatment from a psychologist, she ended up saying,"It's common". I can't go to a psychologist because now my board exams are going on, but I'm not able to focus and concentrate on studies at all from last 6 months. Can you treat me on KZbin? Or zoom? Or anything? No one is able to identify my mental illness, my rage for relatives, crying in alone and love for darkness but I can feel from inside that something in not ok within me.

You are totally fine...you don't need any doctor or psychologist because they give medicines which work for the short term ...but for the long term you have to be strong

You should try to heal your inner and outer self....for your outer self you should exercise even if you feel low because in anxiety we feel low but you should try and exercise...because it will decrease cortisol level....and this hormone causes anxiety attacks....and for your inner self you should be positive...you should change your perspective for others ....because when we feel anxious our mind start hating others...so you should be positive
