I had an older Kraton and a V2 Typhon, both on 6S. I personally found the Kraton to be more of a stunt truck-basher and the Typhon to be a race-basher. The Kraton was easy to do flips and stunts and jumps with, but I found the Typhon was better balanced in the air but harder to backflip. I got rid of them both but regretted selling the Typhon... As luck would have it, I now own a V5 Typhon and I LOVE it!! Love your videos and just have fun!! That is what matters in this hobby!!

I have a highly modified Xmaxx, K8S and O8S. Out of the 3, the Xmaxx is still king of durability. But the O8S and K8S outperform it in open fields and long distance jumps. I love all 3!

great video, I have the standard brushed Typhon for garden bashing, jeepers thats quick enough! wow and Ive thrashed it and it wont break! both those are superb, so yeah, just have to buy both maybe :)... I also fly r/c ducted fan jets and I tell you now driving around that course with those beasts is far harder, so well done, keep up the great vids, your filming, editing, music, is exceptional! :)

I have the Typhon TLR tuned roller and the Kraton V6 RTR. They're both animals! I love them both. The typhon is psycho. The Kraton bashes very well.

Out of my 6s Arrma rigs that I've had (V4 Kraton and V2 Outcast 6s) the Typhon v3 has been the most durable one of them. And it can run better on the road, and since I put K6s hubs on the front and rear, plus K6s axle ends, I can put 2.8 or 3.8 monster truck tires. Plus the body lasts way longer. The Typhon 6s would be my choice. Good comparison and video as usual 👍

Kraton 6s vs E revo 2.0 would be better. Kraton eats the Maxx any day. It's just that the Maxx is nearly as expensive as the kraton 6s but it doesn't mean the 2 are comparable. ✌️

@@freddieparrydrums 4s batteries are cheaper. At my country they are priced the same but Arrma has really bad parts support here and Traxxas has a distributor who has everything on shelf. So for me parts support matters more. Even if I had the Maxx for almost 2 months now and nothing has broke on it. Not even the chassis bent ;)

I think the way the Typhon really effortlessly climbed that mound while the Kraton struggled it’s way up is what did it for me. I was unsure of which car I wanted, but seeing that the better power to weight of the typhon in action helped me realize what I wanted more out of a 6s car.

I have a Typhon V5 and I have done many upgrades including shock towers bash bars Springs wheels tyres and different oils all round and the thing is a beast on the track I would have one of these over the Kraton any day as I also have a Kraton EXB

Me 2 kraton hard keep gears tires in tact o have regular kraton too , I may use to truggify typhon , its just easier get most out typhon even the outcast with same chassis , tge kraton just a lemon compared

Very nearly bought the Typhon (no doubt I'll get a buggy soon enough, cos ya know, it becomes additive to collect), but got the Kraton today! After shimming the diff, managing to squeeze in a Gens Ace 6800MAH 6S 120c, took it out for a bash. Absolutely amazing. Unfortunately for me though, I forgot to calibrate the steering so I killed it after 20 mins :D Lesson learnt! Got a 35kg on it's way. Only just come across your vids but really enjoying them!

I am on my second typhon 6s, first one blew up got another on warranty, for the stock rtr version of the 6s it is impressive, I keep up with my buddies an their 2k losi eight e, if you are going to run that spectrum motor I will say take it apart after every few runs they suck in alot an I mean alot of dirt an dust, I have sealed mine off with set screws an shoe goo around motor wires, the only open hole in my motor is around the front where the gear goes on because that is hard to seal up, and blew the tires off the rims, an that was only the outside bead,, other than that it's been a really good buggy, typhoon 6s v5 rtr

I love you guys, you guys should check out the Floureon Lipos. After being in the hobby for over 20 years, I truly believe these batteries are overpowered. I once ran my X01 with some "Ovonic Lipos".. its top speed was 80mph, with those and it couldnt get past that, I later switched to the Floureon Lipos and it reached 102!

Man the only thing I dont like about some of those arrma kratons 6s is the motor peeking out the chassis ! That scares me as I fear a rock or a bad fall on that engine would suck. All the other truggys have there engines safe and sound wholly withen the chassis.
