Its a little hard to tell for sure when you're watching on a cellphone, but the upgraded motor seems to give the new version a better sound to me. Any comments from you, Nate? Or from anybody watching on a computer with a better sound profile than my phone?

Thank you Nate and Abby for sticking around! Trying to think what version you are on. Version 3 is my guess. I would like to see model types stick around longer. Now upgrading should be worked into a model. Have it available to upgrade an older version.

I just recently picked up the Viper 15th Anniversary by FMS and I wish I knew this was coming soon. I like the Paint and my Model had crappy front gear out of the box . Took me a while to figure it out but I’m thinking HH would have put out a higher quality control plane . Who ever put my nose assembly together,mine must have been there 1st one. Sloppy !!! 😢

The FMS 15th And was the best upgrade. It got pretty much everything ppl wanted. Eflite missed the bar here when they could've exceeded FMS and added LEDs and a brand new colour scheme not just putting Orange where there used to be Blue. They basically just raided FMS parts bin and changed the ink on the stickers. Personally they shouldv made a new mold, made it slightly larger so a 4000 fits in easily and added LEDs.

Certainly respect your viewpoint here. However, when I compared the two to near mental exhaustion, a couple of key points came up. First off, FMS makes many if not all the EF planes, so yes the molds [models] are the same (so FMS did not upgrade anything over the EF version). But, the FMS is a wiring nightmare, and it is next to impossible to get a gyro receiver installed without significant brain damage. The FMS does not have thrust reverse or a nice receiver either; and to your point, neither has lights - which, I agree is a mistake. The Freewing Bae Hawk does have lights, and it is a serious contender in this class. Although, I do agree the livery on the FMS is better. I almost bought it for that reason alone. 2 cents worth is all. Happy flying!

Bought this, and putting the wings on was a nightmare. Horizon states it takes less time than charging a battery. Only if charging a battery takes over 4 hours. I finally removed all the factory extensions in the fuselage and substituted my own. Their 3-way gear extension went bad in the process, but I had one in my spare parts inventory.

Look inside this one and inside the FMS 70mm viper 15 aniversary. It is the exact same model just with other colors. The FMS is cheaper. The whole plane is a FMS mold. But hey.. horizon hobby sell fms planes so i guess they work together😊

Ofc its same since FMS makes planes for HH but to be honest this has way better color and its BNF. I have 90mm FMS Viper but if i will be buying 70mm i will pick this one just cause of color.

This is the same Viper as the new FMS 15th anniversary edition version. However, it just doesn’t come with the receiver but other than that and the color scheme it is the same plane.

i began to hate Eflite. they proposed new products by lots and in few months/2 years after, they will be discontinued and impossible to get the replace parts (fuselage, wing, landing....).
