I wouldn't leave my shit in fabric softener for 24 hours LMAO I wouldn't even do it for an hour. I did a half hour with hair conditioner and it removed alot of red from my hoodie but not noticeable on the jacket thank God. I'd just use baby conditioner with maybe a table spoon or 2 max of regular hair conditioner to make it stretch more and only if the garment isn't already faded or maybe if it is already super duper faded.
