I’m colourblind so when I play this on public servers and they all refer to people by their colours I can’t even tell who they’re voting for half the time it’s so sad 😭 Edit: to explain, at around 46:00 they’re talking about who could have looked a similar colour to Ayka. In my eyes, Kara’s skin looks the most similar to Ayka’s, but their suggestions were Nate or Green, who look nothing like Ayka’s skin to me. Voltage LX no. I have what’s known as red-green colourblindness (which is actually a really bad name for it) but essentially, we all have cones in our eyes that help us tell the difference between colours. My red cones don’t work properly. I can still see red, but not as brightly as you can, and it means that reds, dark greens and browns all look very similar. It also affects purple, pink and blue - as purple and pink have elements of red in them those colours can all look similar. It also affects oranges and greens, for a similar reason. There are people who have different cones that don’t work properly, or are missing entirely, (for example some people’s red cones are missing and they would see no red at all) and people who have no cones at all see in black and white.

I totally feel for jardon with his history class lol. Freshman year of high school I took environmental science honors and first semester we had a substitute that sounds just like his teacher but somehow worse, and she literally forgot to tell only my period about an assignment that counted for half of the grade of our finals (so 15% of the full class grade). When our teacher came back a couple days before she was terrible too and didn't believe us when our whole class said we had no idea that this assignment even existed. Nobody got above a C in that class.

I had a similar experience with my history professor in college. He would teach about history, but it would be a completely different area that what was tested about. You theoretically had to read about it in the textbook to learn the knowledge. But the practice tests where the exact same as the real tests, and they were all multiple choice questions. So to do well all you had to do was do the online practice questions and memorize the answers. The final exam took 10 minutes and I went back through it to double check my answers. He was a frustrating professor in other ways too.

While both of those points are valid, it promotes a strat that is incredibly difficult to play around. All it does is a more latency-focused version of animations. Now, if the animations were turned off and it just showed when checkpoints were met, (25% complete for example) Then I see a much more balanced system to prevent the get around for animations being off.
