The Antebellum South was an aesthetic pleasing era, if you don't count the enslavement portion, of fancy colorful dresses and southern charm and hospitality (again not counting the enslavement portion) that is long gone. Normally when people have weddings in plantation, they either saw it in a hallmark movie or some old family photo book from their 4th generation grandparents that they want to relive.

I’ve seen people say that they think the Justin Baldoni/Blake Lively debacle is largely due to Ryan’s ego. That Blake fell for Justin on set and Ryan became determined to ruin Justin and steal his movie as payback. Blake, in an effort to save her marriage and appease her husband had to oblige him. Knowing that her and Ryan seemingly fell in love on set of Green Lantern makes sense that Ryan would think how he got her is how he’d lose her.

I don't know if the "red flags" are accurate about Blake and Ryan's marriage. What I do know however, is, my husband and I are best friends. We tell each other everything. Yet, I do go out socializing on numerous occasions without him. He doesn't like to socialize but has no problem with me being myself. We have 5 adult children. One was deceased at the age of 43. We have 13 grand children and 2 great grands. We have also been married for 53 years and our oldest is 54. We're in our mid to late 70's. So my point is that having been best friends for 55 years has been great for us. I think everyone will have different standards and experiences about relationships because we're all different people. There is no set pattern for having a happy successful marriage/ relationship. But keeping most people out of your intimate details goes a long way 🤔👍🏼
