He's telling the truth. I lived in Toronto for about 23 years until I moved to a different region. Toronto is too expensive, so I'm not sure why everyone wants to live there. The only advantage of living in Toronto is having easy access to public transit to get around but nothing else if you ask me. Right now Alberta is booming again with lots of jobs and cheaper accommodation but housing has started to go up there too but definitely cheaper than Toronto.

As for someone who's been here for almost 30 years, I would advise any student coming to consider schools outside Ontario especially Toronto. Cost of rent is outrageous now, some people pay more for rent than a mortgage in Ontario. Alberta is booming now and has cheaper housing options. Best of luck to anyone making plans to move to Canada.

A lot of people like saying “Ghanaians aren’t helpful” and Indians help their own more than Ghanaians do. Difference simply is that Indians come to stay and die here and Ghanaians come to work so they can go back to Ghana. When the Indian is buying houses, he’s able to bring in as many people as they want cause they own the house. When you’re renting, there are rules against having extra people in your apartment. Why should someone put themselves into that predicament where they can lose their home? The interviewee is right; there’s a peace of mind living outside of the major cities. Cost of living lower, less noise, traffic, etc.
@randompeppy9652 Жыл бұрын
That's not entirely true .. Indians take huge loans to stay in canada . They immigrated here with a bit of capital. There is a bank in India that specifically loans them money to and integrate in canada with a collateral of a home or land ,until you pay back. 3 of my Indian co worker came to canada with $30000 loan , that they are still paying. When they were able to settle in ,they use some the money as a down payment for home in canada.
