I think you do a very good job showcasing that stuff can look silly and weird during the process, the way you use parts of toys, cereal boxes and little random plastic parts in odd colors. Looking at a finished piece of wargaming scenery can be very daunting because it always looks amazing when done by someone like yourself but following along the steps and seeing how it all comes together gives that Bob Ross feeling of anyone being able to do it.

This is awesome! The only thing I'd add if I were building it is little numbered signs over/by each cave entrance. That way you could have a mechanic where if a model goes into a cave entrance, they emerge from a randomly-chosen cave somewhere else on the build.

Home Depot manager: "Who cleared out all the PS foam?" Home Depot Employee: "Eric's making Warhammer set pieces, in addition to his Imperator titan." Joking aside - that was some brilliantly simulated stone. Using the cross cut/chipping technique worked beautifully, as well as the heat gun to round out the rock face. That made for some relaistic weathering effects. Keep up the good work! BTW - off to my local Lebanese Shawarma joint for a Falafel pita!

The simple, few-step process of this entire paint scheme is honestly tempting me to do something similar, but with maybe more Mechanicum inspiration and using some 3d-printed terrain bits I've had lying around for a while. Maybe a missile silo or the smokestack/maintenance scaffolding of a giant manufactorum hidden inside a mountain. Thanks for the inspiration!

I don't know if it's something I've missed from the lore, has there been a EHWS & BMC crossover collab? Seems like that melding of minds could yield something truly majestic, you're both Canuck's right, I know those northern wastes are big but you don't even need passports to make this dream team happen. We used to drive round in the noughties in irresponsibly fast cars ironically blaring some 'Vanilla', happier more innocent times, I've got a lump in my throat just thinking of the days, damn I'm old, yeah thanks Eric!

"It doesn't need to look good at every step" is something I have to keep reminding myself. That, and "Trust the process." Painted up some skeletons for Frostgrave and DnD and decided to go with a rusting armor theme. Oh boy did they look like complete crap until I did the last fiddly details and got them with a black wash. This build is definitely amazeballs. I really wish I had the room to store something that size. Largest build I'm really able to get away is about 14 inches cubed.

It turned out to be a wonderful object, and the assembly and painting. Like.👍 Warhammer 40K conveys the whole depressive atmosphere of the worlds very vividly. Special thanks for the quality of the video and for demonstrating the method of simulating the weathering of sedimentary rocks at 01:57-03:45.
