Lydia is not a saint, I grant you that. HOWEVER, we only hear HIS side of the story and he is a professional Gaslighter. Think of his version from Lydia's side: They dates casually and he dumped her because "she was crazy", then months later HE reaches out again, giving her hope, only to dump her AGAIN, claiming she was acting like a stalker. Months later, HE reaches out AGAIN until he feels she is finally stable, only to dump her a THIRD TIME for seemingly no reason but to join the cast on LIB. Then, when Aalyah is honest to him about her cheating, he makes accusations to her, makes her feel like trash, only to then deny his words to convince her she is WRONG about her memory while he is ACTIVELY lying to her about Lydia, which leads her to have doubts and distrust and then blames her for leaving, as if he had no fault. Lydia, for me, was stuck in a cycle of abuse from him!

Uche is not innocent in this situation at all!! I definitely should’ve spoke on how he uses manipulation tactics and is pretty full of himself. I did notice how we only his side of the story but she didn’t do a good job of defending herself imo :/ their relationship was definitely toxic and i didn’t appreciate how Uche pretty much talked to Lydia just to throw that shit in her face. And she also explained that they were on the phone together when she was in his neighborhood and she drove past his house and was like “hey I see you” like in a friendly way. YES! I was about to say the same thing! Uche is so cocky. He acts all calm and collected, because he loves seeing other people's over-reaction. You can tell he enjoys poking the bear. He literally cheated on her, causing her to be insecure. Like they got back together a few times, and I believe he gaslite her with -- "BABY I CHANGED. I WON'T CHEAT ON YOU AGAIN." Lydia is very fiery and still gives me that weird crazy energy of a Latina. The "I will burn your whole house down as I sit in the front of your lawn sipping margaritas" vibe. But let see... apparently Uche has receipt for after the show finishes.

I understood Stacy’s issue about not having any actual dishes. I get having single use plates and cups for lazy days and parties, but I think it’s strange that he’s been living there for a year and a half without any actual dishes and silverware. Same with the nightstand. He said that he got rid of the one that he had at his old apartment, but never explained why he never got another one. He was trying to make her out to be materialistic, but I don’t think it’s materialistic to expect the person who’s trying to wine and dine you to serve food on an actual plate. I also don’t understand why he kept the lost and found drawer. If you don’t know who these items belong to, why are you keeping them like souvenirs?

honestly izzy doesnt come from money, hes been open about that. And we dont know his work/lifestyle prior to the show. He couldve just been working a lot and not spend much time at home or orders take out often. We dont know. So it is a bit materialistic and classist to be like "omfg you only have paper plates, gross". And with a nightstand its really not that serious, i dont have one and ive never had one because the houses ive lived in the way it was structured it wouldve taken up too much space. As for the lost and found, as someone who has adhd and forgets things that arent in sight, i dont see this as a big deal. i genuinely believe that he compeltely forgot it was there and thought it would be funny to laugh about it with stacy. As theyve banter quite a lot with each other.

I just found your video and I adore your commentary! Keep it up! Izzy gives the "wannabe sugar baby" vibe. He reminds me of Bartiste, because he doesn't have anything together. Meanwhile the females got their ducks in the row. JP gives me the ick. Looking at his intense eyes constantly staring Taylor, LIKE BRO!! BLINK! He seems like a wife beater. He does have the old school 40's husband mindset where he wants his wife to be less talkative, caters to his every need, and pop out babies for him. Uche is a master gaslighter. Another thing: Izzy literally was only half telling the story to stacy saying Johnie (however you spell her name) was calling him sketch when he was the one that called her it first. The only reason she said it back to him was because he said it to her, then he turns around and is like “sTacY lOoK wHaT sHe cAlLeD mE” He was being an asshole and he has no fucking right to give her advice. Then him telling her “let me finish” but continuing to interrupt her? Izzy was bullying her and he was trying to get Stacy to do it with him in that moment.

Plastic stuff is baffling. It means that he throws plastic away, which is polluting the Earth, and I’d be looking out for that conscience in a partner. Ceramic dishes are available at the dollar store as well as thrift shops, so if you live on your own, you can definitely afford the real dishes, so I don’t really get how that is luxury, it’s more of a "hygge" cosy home thing. Add the lack of night stands as well as the collection of jewelry never returned & yes - it’s a very fuckboy apartment, however I suppose a lot of men live like that. I don’t think Lydia is a stalker at all, but I do think that she started investigating stuff when she was given a reason to suspect him of cheating. I also think he’s taking that photo out of context because it was part of a conversation or argument over the phone, she did not just randomly send that out of nowhere to unnerve him. So as much I don’t like it I do fully understand why she would then try to keep tabs on Instagram girls he was talking to. I also don’t really buy that “all these people” were actually paying attention at who’s viewing their stories and decided to pick her out and bring it up to Uche, unless he’s being dishonest with them too and talking to them like he’s single, in which case the girls may have really just been concerned with why this one person seems to keep tabs on their stories of Uche is supposedly not with anyone (especially when these girls are asking him “do you know her?” Like if they don’t know anything about her being Uche’s partner or ex then how would they know to bring it up to him?? Like what were his responses too???). Lydia seems like a bit of a mess who’s holding on a little too tight to their connection, but I don’t think she’s a stalker. That being said, I DO think she did find out by being invasive with Uche’s stuff once she started looking for evidence of cheating, that she figured out he applied to the show and applied herself for that reason, without Uche’s knowledge.

27:40 honestly it would be something I would not want to see as well. i try to avoid cookware that has plastic. its not good when food touches with plastic as you get exposed to certain chemicals what not that has effect to your endocrine system etc. also if its single usage and thats hella wasteful. for me reusable products is a big deal, and I try to reduce my waste as much as possible where it comes to plastics and chemicals. when I make everyday life choices etc environmental impact and impact to my health has a significant weight.

I feel like Uche definitely made Lydia out to be worse than she actually is. The real villain is Uche. The way he was reaching out to her over and over again and the excuse being he wanted to “make sure she was stable enough” so he can LEAVE AGAIN?! Toxic asf. Then he goes and paints himself out to be the good guy. Making Aaliyah feel bad about herself for cheating when he cheated when he was 18 but then ALSO a few months ago on Lydia?! ALSO the conversation with Lydia was pissing me off. This man feels like a robot for one, but also the way he was trying to get Lydia to co-sign with his narrative so it looks like he was being honest. And he kept telling her to come back, honestly i’m surprised she did. Idk if I fully agree with the stuff about Izzy. They are expecting to be leaving the show with a marriage secured, not a lil bf/gf. I think it is absolutely fair to expect the person to have their life structured to accommodate that. I'm sorry but I believe him solely relying on plastic isn't able the 'struggle' but is purely because a lack of initiative and care. You can absolutely acquire decent affordable cutlery, dishes etc(especially at the cost of constantly buying paper and plastics stuff). Continuously buying and tossing plastic definitely is/ has to add up cost wise and is just overall unnecessarily wasteful. To do that because you can't be bothered to wash dishes is just financially irresponsible, immature and lazy, does that mean if dishes do become a staple he's just gonna let them pile up for someone else? His rational and priorities just doesn't come off as a man who is truly ready for a marriage/?partnership, but does come off as one still in the headspace of a bachelor. The fact that he could even be bothered to empty the 'one-night stand' drawer in preparation for coming onto the show and even felt comfortable to show his future wife that proves his immaturity. His demeanor just comes off unprepared and childish 🤷🏾‍♀️ Stacey def has her glaring problems but at least she actually fundamentally ready for this process.

there is almost no cast member this season that i find likable. i find it believable that lydia could have been crossing boundaries and been overbearing in her relationship with uche. however, uche gave aliyah such a hard time for cheating 2 years ago and claimed that his cheating wasn't the same because he was 18. AND THEN he turns right around and indirectly admits to cheating on lydia. like haven't you been the one this whole time talking about how you can't stand dishonesty??! aliyah was justified for leaving, but she was waiting for something bad to happen even before finding out about lydia. i believe that even if that didn't happen, her fear would have caused her to back out or run away for another reason. i liked izzy up until they left the pods. he sat both lydia and johnie down for a talk when neither of them asked for an explanation. with lydia, he made it seem that he felt way stronger for her than he showed in the pods. i think that part of him was upset she was happy with milton and wanted to drag up those feelings again. he got so much joy out of berating johnie and tried to act like he didn't care about her at all when he was clearly very upset and worked up. even stacey immediately saw how much he was affected by the conversation. johnie was telling both izzy and chris what they wanted to hear and didn't convey how deep her connection was with izzy until chris had put everything on the line for her. i throughly believe that if izzy wouldn't have gone off on her, and instead asked her to come back to him, then she would have left chris behind a second time. stacey seemed to be mostly reasonable, though i definitely understand why izzy felt judged by her comments about the paper plates and solo cups. its definitely questionable that he doesn't have real dishes and i understand stacey's points, but she even brought it up in front of her family knowing that it would probably embarrass him. to me, she just was dragging out it way too much. it's not like he said that he wanted to keep using disposable dishes for the rest of his life. it would be an easy fix. it also rubbed me the wrong way that stacey seemed to be pretty dismissive and not reassuring when he expressed that he felt she was coming off as materialistic. on the other hand, i really don't think that that man has his money on lock like he claims to lmaoo. milton and lydia can be cute but eventually those digs at each other are gonna go too far. and then with jp and taylor.. it was obvious that jp was struggling with the way taylor looked just based on the way he would kiss her 😬 it was hard to watch honestly. taylor did the right thing by leaving that situation. the only character i can say that i genuinely liked with chris, though i wish he would have stuck with his decision to not give johnie a second chance. i really believe that this might be the first season that no couples get married. we are already down to just 2 engaged couples and it seems like neither of them started talking about important stuff like kids or money until they left the pods. it's not looking good

I actually think Milton handled the situation perfectly. He came in, supported his partner (whatever we think of her) and gave her a calm out to the situation. Of all the people who acted childish in that episode (Lydia and Uche at the top of the list with Izzy and Stacy), Milton actually acted like an actual grown up. Uche talks a good game, but his calm tone doesn't make me fully believe his story. There are things that don't add up and I'll be glad when we can properly hear from both of them after the show. Aaliyah, Lydia, and Uche are a toxic trio and it's proably for the best they all never speak to each other again.

The only people that I like on this season are Aaliyah, Taylor and Milton. The rest are very very strange....Uche is a narc and a gaslighter. Lydia is too much and somehow I get dishonest vibes, JP is simply weird and full of excuses, not able to say what he really thinks or feels. And don't get me started on Stacy, what an airhead. She thinks she is GOD's gift to men while looking completely dull and unattractive. She hasn't got much going for her as her character is just as dull as her looks....And Stacy expecting a man to always pay at restaurants and take her on expensive trips is so cheap. Why should he? If it is a partnership than its only fair to adjust to your partners capabilities and not put the pressure on that much, demanding the lifestyle of a multi millionaire. Shallow is the only word fitting for her.

The only people I would want to hang out with are Chris and Milton and I guess Milton’s roommate who was pretty funny. I cannot put all the blame on JP for the failure of JP and Taylor. She would not let the awkward meeting go and just try to move forward. She just getting in his face and telling him it is awkward. When he was honest and expressed his feeling, she could not handle it. Granted, he should not have demanded she nor wear make up but she already was pussed off to the point of no return before that. Hot take Stacey doesnt suck she just has different preferences in how she likes to live. I think too often its easy to villanize the white girl but shes entitled to create her own standards. I do not get why so many people are shitting on Uche but praising Aaliyah. They both have issues. Uche wasn't wrong for questioning Aaliyah about cheating. She cheated on her bf and never told him. Someone with a conscience wouldn't be able continue to live 3 months with this person and not confess. She should have broken up with the bf or if you cheat let them know and leave the relationship. I would have doubts about continuing to be with someone like that because you showed no signs of remorse or repentance. If she went to the bf and confess and owned it then I would consider maybe it wouldn't happen again and look at her differently. Aaliyah's other problem is that she is a runner and she doesn't communicate well. She should not have left without speaking to Uche no matter how her and Lydia's conversation went. This shows her level of maturity and I would think twice b4 marrying someone who would just walk out without at least having a conversation. When Uche and Aaliyah met up at the restaurant, Uche mentioned that Aaliyah followed and unfollowed him on Instagram. Then send a voice message then deleted it then blocked him and unblocked him while he is waiting on her to unblock him so he could talk to her. Is this high-school!? She sounds very immature in this aspect. Again I wouldn't feel comfortable continuing a serious relationship with someone like this at this age. Marriage isn't a joke and you need someone who isn't going to keep running away and is open to having tough conversations so Aaliyah isn't an angel. Now Uche...I heard that the producers told both him and Lydia that they couldn't say anything at 1st until after they had strong connections. I believe no matter what the producers said Uche should not have allowed himself to be in that position since he claims to be big on honesty and trust. I believe there is more to his and Lydia's relationship and he is downplaying it. It's either that coochie was really good or he cared more for her than he is willing to admit because you do not keep going after someone so many times if you are admitting the relationship wasn't healthy. A man knows if he is going to marry you or not within a few short months and Uche knew Lydia wasn't the one but he still encouraged her which is really messed up. Uche confronting Lydia at the end was petty but I feel like he was😂 mad Lydia played a role in messing up him and Aaliyah's relationship so he wanted to expose her. He should have just left that alone. Conclusion to my essay is that they both are wrong and both are humans and easy to judge. They both need work before trying to get married. Also we do not know the full story and can only go based off what was shown and edited to present to us.
