That’s I believe what they are intended to be, but Mojang made the mistake of naming it to just be “Cherry” like “Cherry logs” or “Cherry planks” but that implies that they are Cherry trees, or to be exact Purple Leaf Sand Cherry Trees(A cherry tree with purpleish/Pinkish logs and leaves, growing sour cherries that are good for baking.). Since cherry blossoms or Sakura trees are a different type of tree from what I have heard. I am not an expert I just have had cherry trees most of my life. In the update log thing I believe it was titled as cherry blossoms, and I believe the biome has cherry blossom in the name.

To make Good starter houses you should do a villager type house but make it a little bit bigger and look different maybe use some spruce wood dark oak and Moss cherry blossom wood and Deep slate ( edit It's OK I'm not very good at survival either I'm normally play on creative mode )

Here is a helpful hint. Slime block are bouncy honey blocks are the exact opposite. You can jump and bounce on a slime block. Honey blocks keeps players from jumping. It is a really good block for pranking people on a server. Did you know that if there are two honey blocks next to each other you can fire an arrow through the line between the two blocks?

Karina, since you haven’t gotten caught up with the newer Minecraft updates, the reason you we’re finding pink trees in your world was because a year ago minecraft added a new biome called the cherry grove which is the biome with the pink trees in it.

next time you are going in a cave (to get diamonds or something like that) then you can hold f3 and press b. then you can see hit boxes which helps you to see better mobs
