There are SKYSCRAPERS in KATOWICE and a STADIUM that looks like a UFO.

Started walking from where I left off yesterday. Found a Church with fascinating architecture, it has one tall tower and two small sides to the Church. Took a turn through a kind of drabby part of town, then headed where some apartments were. From there I could see a tall mining shaft, which has now been turned into a museum. I walked that way and ended up where the tall buildings are. Katowice even has it's own skyscrapers and it looks like more are being built. Next door to the tall building was the Spodek Stadium, it's shaped like a UFO. Another fun day of exploration in Katowice.

In that ufo stadium called Spodek(saucer) Metallica played their very first (due to fenomenal demand)two concerts in Poland in February (very cold then)1987 with Master of Puppets tour .We travelled there some 500km by train from 21:43 Szczecin

Great video. I suggest visiting Tychy, place close to Katowice, about 40 kilometers away. Not big but interesting city with, among others, Browary Książęce (Prince's Breweries).

@@TravelAddictGuy You visit random objects, and yet you avoid potentially interesting places. You can buy a ticket for PLN 12 for the whole day and travel the entire Agglomeration by bus or tram. From GLiwice to Dąbrowa Górnicza and from Tychy to Tarnowskie Góry. You saw only about 20% of the center of Katowice. It's a pity, because we don't know when you'll come again. I don't like Katowice, but I know "every stone" here.
