In a summary, there are long, normal and short timed spike traps that activate automatically, and there are player-activated traps that activate when you cross the red dot on the beam holding them up.

I've only noticed the red light recently, must have been added after this video was made! I've also heard they now play ambient sound if you're near them or are underneath?

It would be a nice detail if when the spike trap hit the coil head it stop as soon as it hit the coil head, would make more seeing being on how resistant they are

you can throw used flash bang at Mines to trigger them... its easy when you master the toss ability...

nice discoveries! could be a viable strategy to kill off monsters in chase, seeing as it's a one-hit. Though quite risky.

I think with the proximity traps you can actually crouch walk through them and they won’t activate on you, but I only tested that once in a session so maybe it’s a fluke.

On the new update you can walk on either side of the red light, but if you cross the red light then it'll slam

I have seen a thumper spawn and instantly get killed by a trap weich i believe was interval but im not 100%

I think this guide is pretty outdated, I can make an updated one 😁 I'm pretty sure what you saw was right, intervals can slam monsters
