This has been the most red the state has ever been in 30 years. NYS is overall very conservative. At least from my experience. I’ve lived in the suburbs of Rochester for 6 years and I grew up and lived in Long Island until I was 17. My husband and I are actually moving back upstate next month for many reasons. (Cost of living, and crime)
