Pro tip for attacking Giant enemies in Empires of the Undergrowth: Temproarily turn off attack for your warriors so they ignore the threat and go behind the enemy, then turn it back on so you can easily surround them.

Also build 19 tiles Chambers so You can Upgrade every ant to Level 3 and dont put your larvae to far infront of the nest or your workers will Take a Long time to get there and replace the eggs i got 123 hours in eotu

Yo beavs, word of advice, put speed tiles in front of the entrances of every room, it allows for easier upgrading, and can also be upgraded, unlike rocks Edit: also, trap jaw ants are literally the best ants in the entire game, they might not cost nearly as much as some of the others, but their ability to jump back allows them to hold the line and survive much longer than any other ant, they're especially good when supported by wood ants, because they can hold the line better than any other ant in the game, so your wood ants can fire in without fear of getting overwhelmed

pickle thesaurus do you thing that trap jaw ants are better than army ants, literally army ants destroy anyting thats in there paths and the power of there majors is so op they literally buf up all ants arrownd them if they have enough numbers, that doesn t say that trap jaw ants are terrible, they are very good ants and are whorth to build but i think that army ant majors are better beceause of there ability .

@@mehdibenhajissa811 army ant majors better be insane because of that insane cost, I've used them before but I was really underwhelmed, they didn't seem like a good enough fighter for that cost, if you dont have the numbers or levels advantage they just die too fast to be useful, trap jaws, judging by usefulness and cost, are just all around a better investment, they wont die nearly as much so you're not spending all your food trying to keep army supplied, they dont really cost that much so they're spammable and easy to upgrade, and they can last longer than any other ant in the game, if that isnt the best ant in the game, idk what drugs your smoking, though this may change once the fire ants come out Edit: also, the majors cost 170 food to create, and while you're getting a really strong ant for that cost, just getting slave makers instead for the speed boost is both cheaper and more cost effective, with the amount I have to invest in army ant majors, they should be absolute worldbeaters, but they're not, they die in the wink of an eye and their sole strength is swarming with media and hoping to god your enemy doesn't have an effective AOE. imo, leafcutters are the better of the two majors, they cost 20 less and they're honestly worth the cost, while you better have the blessings of god himself if you want to get a large and fully upgraded army ant major team

Yeah man, more ants! Tip for nest: put fighters in the nest colony selection so when ur out u have defenders that there is a defense row to hold off enemies that invade so when ur main colony is outside harvesting or whatever the defenders will hold them off until u get there. :)

That's how I beat terrarium challenge 2 with no wood ants, I had 50 black ants, 30 workers acting as soldiers, and 17 separate black ants instead of royal guard so I could get royal degree (Free units for 5 minutes)

For the sake of pointing out things, the bush cricket doesn't poison the ants, it kicks them with it's spiked legs making the ants get damage over time from bleed. I also believe that your playing through another point of view, I mean all of the events are what you already played through during the normal campaign just that your not playing that colony. (if you completely understood that entire last sentence, good for you).

Fun Fact: they updated the game where if you complete this quest again, you can play as them in freeplay (their colony name is counterpart) Other fun fact: when you are supplying the tube with workers, you are the ereptors who attack your old colony is terrarium challenges 1 and 2 later: I went online to figure out the stats of the ants, slavemakers at level 1 have 50 health (A level 3 black ant has 40) army ant minors use normal attacks with no special affects, majors increase the damage of all nearby ants from the same colony up to +45 damage per hit trapjaw ants have 65/75/90 per level and the jump back heals them more depending on their level
