The very first time about 5 years ago when I heard this song, I cried. My son wanted to be an astronomer and everything that Carman said was true. The thousands of computers that measure the universe all agree as far as the measures, the angles, the temperatures. I'm a doctor, and I'm amazed at the way that man was created. Each bone, each organ has it's own function. If the ankle bone was at the place of the shoulder, we wouldn't be able to jump without breaking it. The choir is beautiful

People make this argument all the time. How can a loving God allow such suffering in the world? The answer is that he doesn't; we do. You see, God is a Holy and just God as much as he is a loving God, and as a result, he can not allow sin in his presence. Since God is love, and all that is good comes from him, when we sin, we separate ourselves from that love. Evil and hate is the void that remains , brought about by our own sin. If you are not an astronomer, please don't make claim about planet Earth. The Earth revolves around the Sun with aphelion of 152,098,232 km and perihelion of 147,098,290 km. That means the Earth is 3.4% closer to the Sun at perihelion from aphelion. The temperature on Earth is not regulated by the distance from the Sun, but the ozone layer and green house gases. Firstly, beliefs can't be chosen. If someone makes a claim, it either makes sense to you or it does not. Choice is not part of the equation. The idea that a god creates people knowing full well in advance that they will not follow him and then tortures them for eternity because of it makes no sense to me; therefore I do not believe it to be true.
