My 2nd favorite pony. It's a shame we never got to see more of him on screen. Probably my favorite moment was during rainbow falls where the other bolts where despite his then injury dash was the only one to come in and stand up for soarin. It made me appreciate him a lot more

I know fanfictions are out of the question for canon sources of his character, but I did read this one Soarin x Braeburn fanfiction once where the personality he was given was more deep and dug more into that “self worth” and the need to prove himself and even feeling bizarrely empty alOT hence his eyebags But I’ve yet to read that one official comic so I’m excited to read more about him. I’m clearly biased because he’s one half of one of my favorite mlp ships but he genuinely is a fun character to read into

From what i understood Rainbow Dash voice actor didn't want her character to be shipped with the one of another VA. Which is why she insisted on AppleDash being made canon instead since she play both character.

No actually i think he and RD wouldve been pretty cool as a couple or duo in General! And as much as i dont mind implied apple dash i honestly kinda liked soarindash ( poor soarin needs more screentime and if it costed them making soarindash canon so be it my boy needs recognition! ) but im not Unhappy with appledash, but still sad we basically got less screentime of him the other wonderbolts and of he and RD just because specific shippers would get upset that they were going to be basically fueling soarindash shippers instead of their ship :(

Soarin aswell as the other wonderbolts like cloud chaser thunderlane i really miss them i wish they got more screentime! They were all such cool ponies its sad to see that they didn’t get many episodes!

Soarin's best appearance was in rainbow falls, which was kind of funny because the sequence of events were Soarin saw some cute cheerleaders, got distracted because he's a horny guy tan was saved by Dash whose even cuter than the cheerleaders that episode pretty much disproves all the fanfics that ship him with Braeburn because it shows he's a regular guy who's almost certainly heterosexual.
