When Planet Coaster Two comes out I am looking for these updates. 1. Staff Management- Assigning Ride Operators to rides and have a animation of them doing what they do on roller coasters and then they leave the depot. If they add a Waterpark assign Lifegaurd locations and when lifeguard one gets tired or what ever, Lifeguard B can take over. 2. More animation. Full ride breakdowns, Evacuations, Closed park due to weather, in the settings having the seasonal park option. Ride Operator Animation, Lifeguard Animation (Having lifeguard chairs and assign walking zone for lazy river, assign them to rides). For the Waterpark have lifeguards on top the ride with animation of holding tube for people and then hold tube to let people out on the bottom and then have a lift hill type thing that would bring the tubes to the top of the raft ride. IDK 3. Dual water slides (Like for the water raft rides you can have a covered tube side and a uncovered side and they would share the same bay) 5. It would be nice to see interactive shows added to the game with the entertainers or even creating a set and have a stunt show. 6. Staff paths to break rooms or staff areas. Their are endless opportunities and things they could add and hopefully they are listening and developing the best they can into the gameplay 3. During off season you can choose to store coaster cars or even having transfer tracks.

My park i put time into in the first game only charges for the rides and not admission and makes money hand over fist. I'd love to be able to sell season passes, all access wristbands, front of the line passes, and early access passes for new rides in the park. I also want more options for building details like being able to place tables and chairs easier, addding a playplace, and having more animations of guests talking and eating inside.

There needs to be a waterslide feature like what RCT3 had as part of their Soaked! add-on. However it would have the newer slides like the trapdoor slides for example.

You still might think a planet city isn't a good fit for frontier games, but I think it is becoming more likely it is a possibility after Planet Coaster 2 and a dinosaur game like Planet Zoo.

the only feature I want in planet coaster 2 and Planet Zoo 2 is playing in first person mode, like actually walking around as a guest or staff member, that would be so awesome. I know, we have the camera mode to give us a somewhat first person view but we can't even control that so it's not as satisfying.

For the sequal I want more coherrent employee management. Especially on console I am tired of indivisually changing payment amounts and work areas. There need to be an quick option for such thing because it made scenarios like downtown the worst. Theres also need to be an option to set predone pay for current and promoted levels that you can choose. It also wouldnt hurt to have a reccomend amount of staff for a park as it grows.

I tried to go into Planet Coaster both before JW:E launched and then again after getting into PZ, but both times was held back by the kind of wonky controls (in comparison to the polish in PZ) and just some of the little things that are way less optimized than they are in later Frontier games. I just need Frontier to put up the preorder page for PlanCo 2, and I will give them all of my money.

I really hope they sort out path finding and paths in general. It will preferably include the ability to paint paths that the sims will want to use all of. I'd like to see things like elevators and useable benches/picnic areas as well. Basically they need to totally revamp how the sims interact with their surroundings giving us the freedom to make hyper realistic parks which the sims use 100% of.

Yeah I agree for the same reasons you mention - don’t even know about the survey but it’s pretty clear their plan is to double down on the CMS (creative management sims) and Planco is oldest and one we know has been in development. I could see this year’s release be another F1 manager with Planco 2 coming in 2025 though

I would like the ability to have more detailed paths and terrain. It's very hard to do little ditch sized streams and creeks and I would also like to make paths as narrow as a que. The tools were a great improvement in their debut, I hope they take the concepts further. Also stretch and pull building and fences - I'm not a big fan of searching through thousands of "legos" -- I would rather build generic shapes quickly and apply texture and color myself.

Tbh i actullay would love to see something like “Planet Mall” or smith like that 😂 Basically a game where you could build your own huge mall with all detailed management for every shop, or facility you build there. (Food stores, clothing shops, video game clubs, kids playgrounds, gardens on the roof, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, phone and other electronic devices shops, etc! All that topped with robbery from time to time or catching a fire. If they could add their amazing building mode (it's already amazing in Planet Zoo tho) with some improvement, imagine how big and cool designed malls we could build, 3-4 floors up as well! 😮

We all know that frontier has a very passionate development team for the planet series, and I heard that a lot of features of planet coaster were cut out due to time constraints from wanting to take advantage of new technology quickly. Planet zoo was under a lot less pressure because they had more time to refine the game, and I expect a similar thing to be happening to planet coaster 2, where they are taking time to further improve and add new mechanics.

I'm really looking forward to it. There are so many indications that it really will be Planet Coaster 2. There have been 3 CMS games announced. I could imagine JWE 3 next year. To go with the movie. JWE 2 and Planet Coaster were both announced in June. Plant Zoo was even announced in April. So the next game will actually 100% be shown in one of the next Frontier Unlocked shows. Next month's show is all about Planet Zoo Console anyway. But what are they going to talk about for about 1 hour in the next show? I think especially if you look at the stocks that the announcement is coming very soon :)

Colossal Order really need some competition, CS2 isn't the city Builder of the decade, and hopefully someone else will step up and create a true sequel to CS franchise. Honestly Planet Ski would be absolutely insane. Me as such a wintersports fan would cry for happiness. However, it can even be interesting with all the climate change challenges. Potentially (for me personally) the most interesting Planet X Game next to Coaster and Zoo

More evidence you missed is the one where a few years ago they bought the rights to a few IP's including Planet Prison, Planet Golf and Planet Coaster 2 and also they own the website domain for Planet Coaster 2 and it was being worked on I think only 1 or 2 years ago maybe even more recently idk

The biggest problem with that survey is it's not accurate enough on getting the feedback they want or need. It's a gimmick survey at best, I think. But with how they developed and directed the answers, those taking the survey got skewed into directing inaccurate feedback, and IF Frontier is taking that survey seriously, then whatever the results are, it's flawed and the resulting games will not be what we want. There were insanely STRONGER ways to get the data they needed to prepare for these games better, and I'm disappointed to see how that survey was delivered because I know I didn't get to give them my feedback the way they needed (not negative, just in general). It was like telling my father the answer to a question he asked: he only listens to anything that feeds his ego and doesn't fix the problem that he's inquiring about. lol.

I personally believe PC2 will use a new game engine. There were so many requests from players of PC that Frontier was unable to fulfill due to limitations of that version of the Cobra engine. I also believe there will be IP tie-ins with some major theme parks as well. I’m hoping they will announce it in a few days on the live stream.

If there’s a Planet Coaster 2 I hope they focus on the main issue which is optimization. Cities 2 just completely didn’t do this, even though optimization was an issue in the first game for large cities. Same goes for large parks. I also really want water parks back, it seems like so much of the community doesn’t care for it and I have no idea why, water parks in RCT3 were an amazing addition

I want plan co 2 but give us the options to make a travelling carnival i'd love to see the ride being built from the ground up. It would make the world feel more realistic Also give us water parks and blend all of the planet series into 1 crazy unique game and aquariums too We need the ability to control the speed of the rides wnd stand in the operator perspective that would be a game changer for me restraints lights etc And if possible take a leaf from indoorlands book and give us fully customisable flat rides for plan co 2 And finally give us simulators. I know its crazy but Planet Coaster 2 is one of my most anticipated games besides GTA 6. I really hope they listen to the community and add everything, that would be the perfect themepark/coaster simulation of all time. KSP 2 and CS2 have not been good sequels considering the originals were the best of their genre. I hope PC2 does not follow the same path

I played the game to death, bought all the Planet Coaster DLC and I will buy and support Frontier if they do bring out a Planet Coaster 2 with all the improvements the community has been asking for. Hotels and Pools dont offer much as a stand alone game, it would get boring quickly. A city builder I doubt they will try to take on Cities Skylines eventhough Cities Skylines 2 sucked. So Planet Coaster 2 seems most likely

Without a doubt, a PC2 is needed!!! Not like Zoo, as half of the community speculatates for the near future and also hopes to get a sequel for this game. Unlike pc, zoo works perfectly and still gets updates and dlcs. Its a perfect game and has more than ppl would expect or needed. Sure there are certain things they still could add, but it runs smoothly, it has bunch of animals, scenery packs, better graphic, weather, seasons and a great managment system. All what pc doesnt have. So im 100% sure that one of the upcoming planet games has to be or at least needs to be pc. Pz wont be any of the announced planet games. What would be the purpose? You guys can wait for the next 8 years or more. Im sure about that. But does that mean pc gets a sequel? Im still not convinced. And if so, its most likely not the first of the three announced games. I just cant see it. But if they ever bring a sequel, than maybe next year or 2026.

​​@@RudiRennkamelThe fact that their profits have shrunk significantly in the last year would, purely hypothetically, mean for planet coaster that they only started NOW, possibly towards the end of last year. And the time period would be too short to publish pc now (yes, November is too short a time period). Therefore there are only 3 options: either it has been in development for at least 1.5 years, depending on resources, which would favor a release this year. Another is that they've only just started developing it now and therefore it won't be released until next year or the year after that or that making a sequel to existing games isn't on the agenda at all. Except for JWE, because the IP is still relevant and present through films, but other factors also play a role. A survey about PC, PZ and JWE is no indication for me either. Through the feedback you can also see the opportunity to implement new ideas that are based on the same principle as the games mentioned above. So you pick different aspects from the respective games and make a new one out of them. If you think from a purely economic perspective, a successor is only an option. Another is to appeal to more players. So you have to cover other areas of interest. So for me it's not necessarily an indication of PC2, which means, your argument isnt an indicator for a sequel by any mean. Im still hoping im wrong, bcs i want a sequel. But saying bcs of declining income, isnt a valid point for a PC 2 at all.

Im one of said not a coaster guys . I cant see them do any creative-management game that id like more than planet zoo, because any of the other ideas ive seen dont really interest me personally. Planet Aquarium is kind of the exception, but even here i dont see it as something im gonna play instead of PZ. More like something to hop in every now and again and be sad thats its not in Planet Zoo proper :D

@RudiRennkamel it's the weirdest answer, Rudi, but I think now I'm a little older parks don't appeal to me, and so the idea of building them doesn't excite me either. Loved Planet Coaster 1. Planet Zoo is now my jam. Love going to Zoos in real life and building them. Ah, the peacefulness.
