I am an older Nigerian man, now back in Nigeria after my sojourn in Canada. I would advise you younger ladies to start to ask yourself what the 'men' you want, WANT? And if you have it. Because now you have choice, 10 years goes fast in Canada! After awhile you will no longer have the choice and life makes the choice for you. Especially in a location that has new girls entering the same market each month. Casual dating is simply 'mileage' the more your miles the less chances of receiving marriage offer. In 15 years abroad I noticed less than 10% of the cohort of women I arrived with ever got married..theyjust became baby mama. Thats a serious price to pay for steady light and good road.

Most people in Canada are in love with their job rather than be in love with one another.
@TheWatcherAbove

The problem is that Canada is full of left leaning people, with modern mental makeup. So this means they believe in common tenets of feminism. You will not be approached because most men feel they are harrassing you. Most men have also been feminized. So they have lost that male urge to mate and form bonds with viable females. On the other hand, the females have been masculinized. So they have become less feminine and more masculine...this is unattractive to most traditional men. So if you are a babe in Canada, fresh from Africa, please do not embrace the toxic modern feminine mindset. Be fit, feminine, agreable and that other word that modern feminists hate - submissive. You will find men who will want to marry you asap if you keep the traditional values you learnt from Africa.

The best way to find love is to go back home and don’t show your wealth to the person u meet back home. submissive and respectful to the guy, if the guy can respect people around him and take care of his parents and friends definitely he will show you the same love. U will find true love that will lead to marriage

Lovely video, I liked having several women sharing their experiences. It's scary to see how long some girls have been single but hopeful to see that 2 are in a relationship I left Toronto and moved back to France after 4 years. What I'd say in reaction to this discussion: - Dating apps are extremely stressful but since Canadians don't approach no more it's hard to avoid them... - It's good to have standards but I've noticed that men don't want to spend a lot of money on dates. So be open to walk/coffee dates - It's good to focus on yourself and God but you also have to go out and take actions to meet someone - I'm Congolese and I fubd that there's a great Naija community, I came across lots of Naija men, idk how you girls don't see them o lol

Hmm, I don't think that's a fair comparison as there are far more Nigerian immigrants in Canada than Canadian immigrants in Nigeria lol. The size of the Nigerian community in Canada is actually shocking, one just has to look in the right places

You will also notice that a lot of girls feel lucky to have found someone. And when they do, they hold on to that person regardless of the toxicity. I remember a co worker said she could not believe i had no boyfriend because I was always busy doing things, fun things like travelling, always going to Toronto etc. Meanwhile she was in a very toxic relationship. She ended up breaking up with her boyfriend of 3 years a week after their engagement. It's almost as if men are fewer than women in Canada.
@AyanfeAyeni

@@AyanfeAyeni But that's the thing. Some of these ladies are willing to hold on to these men regardless of the toxicity. It's almost like a national treasure to be in a relationship. If you hang around white girls especially in the work space, they talk about their boyfriends as if they were gold. It's all they talk about.

Canadian guy here. If you're female you likely live in a big city, most good Canadian guys like more natural surroundings so they tend to not live in big cities, but more on the outskirts an hour or two away on a few acres of forested and. My stats, multimillionaire, kickboxer, just shy of 6', looking to get married, but outside of the major cities the male-female ratio is skewed massively, it's 10 guys for every one woman, and the women out here end up with guys they could never get in a big city. Whenever I go into the big cities, my dating app goes nuts with hundreds of lovely single women. I suspect the ratio of women to men in the big cities in Canada is probably skewed heavily in mens favours, I guess 3 woman for every one man. Also, a lot of the guys in the big cities are not nice and very entitled. If you're in a big city, expand the dating app to 200 km range, because a lot of top shelf guys are not in Toronto, we are an hour or two away with a nice house in the forest trying to find a decent woman. The problem is Toronto is so difficult to get in and out of, so most people won't date more than 25 km away. Honestly as a guy giving my impartial advice, when I walk through Toronto and see the crop of guys you all have to date, I shake my head. If you're into metrosexual men that act like divas enjoy.

⭕I spent almost 5 years in Canada ✔️I'm a 32 y.o Congolese woman born and raised in France, arrived in Toronto in 2019, moved back to Paris in September 2023 for that reason. ✔️I tried everything: online dating, church, single events, going out alone, going out with friends.. I didn't find my man. ✔️And it's not just me: I met ppl who are single for 5/10/15 years! And I know 5 friends who are leaving too ✔️And it's not just Toronto: friends told me it's even worse in Ottawa and Calgary ⭕In my opinion, issues are: ✔️Guys don't approach to avoid being accused of sexual harassment (Canada is very feminist, it's up to the woman to make the 1st move or say very clearly that she is OK to be approached) ✔️People are extremely focused on/overwhelmed by their career, so they don't necessarily have/take time to go out ✔️Dating apps are most often used for one-night stands ✔️People don't necessarily want to settle down I won't say it's impossible in Canada, but most people meet in their home country

Well, for me I just feel the girls in Canada are too picky, like how do they want to find love when they aren’t even open to being friends. And I noticed something about Nigerian girls in Canada, they don’t really texts on ig.. likeeeeeee and they want to find love so easily? Nah you have to be open to new friends. You might be lucky, to find a friend whom is relocating to Canada, and then things can work out for there, but most of them are too picky. And most of them don’t reply dm’s because we are still in Nigeria, that’s so sad 😞
