Without the fruitfulness which is according to God's word we cannot please God and our lives will never be what he would have them to be. Adam disobeyed God before there was any law, he disobeyed and brought death to all, those not under the jurisdiction cannot sinas they cannot benefit from keeping it, it is believers who can sin as they are under the jurisdiction of Gods laws.

Too true, not Johns commentary of John 3:16, but the word of God spoken by Jesus as John 5:34. The word of God, not atonement at the Cross which was no altar.
