This line was bad when Vera-Tucker was healthy, and has been one of the worst in football ever since then. Remember- Rodgers got pressured twice in his 4 snaps so far…. Why this team drafted a rotational pass rusher over another offensive lineman in the first round with as much pass rushing depth as they had already is beyond me!

No argument about Zach Wilson, but the first two clips the Dline walks through those blockers like it was a turnstile at an amusement park, and the 3rd clip it hits the receiver in the hands (granted it was high) but those I'd hardly have as Wilson's fault. And Rodgers is in no way coming back if they are not in the thick of things to get into the playoffs which looking at their remaining schedule doesn't look very likely.

He’s not the one who made the decision to go to New York at #2 overall to an extremely hostile situation that has historically run every one of their young qbs into the ground. And by all reports I can find he’s an incredibly hard worker…you say he’s not putting in the work, but there’s not a single report in 3 years that backs that up…he just sucks, and doesn’t have the ability. If he’s putting in the effort and it’s just not happening what else do you expect him to do? He shouldn’t be out there…but that choice isn’t in him.

As a life long Jets fan , I tried to believe in Zach Wilson. He has the arm but not the football sense. When will these scouts figure out that an intelligent QB who can read defensives is better than a QB with a strong arm but no football sense. This year is probably the most frustrating and deflating in years. I don’t even think Aaron can save this team because they make awful decisions

Jets didn’t break him. He was never confident from the jump. You can tell by body language since the draft. Also there was nothing that proved he can read defenses. He’s not a quick thinker. Sam darnold is so so. He’s a USC qb. They’re usually not that good. Same with mark sanchez.

I tried to defend the dude as long as possible but even as trash as the OL is he’s still had times where he’s just holding the ball & not wanting to make mistakes and it’s just impossible to play QB when you have no confidence in yourself & his confidence is clearly gone at this point

Like a few weeks ago he could've easily ran for a 1st down, panicked at the last second and tossed to Michael Carter who had a linebacker up his ass and they ended up not getting the first down. And this is a recurring theme with Zach. He wasn't ready to start as a rookie plain and simple, he needed time to be groomed for the nfl.

he has no awareness in the pocket, poor vision/awareness downfield, bad footwork and ability to extend the play, like I really don't see what he was bringing to the table at all. unless they were straight up just using him to tank. He looked like a deer in the headlights for most plays, just completely overwhelmed. It never looked like he was really improving at all either. No doubt their o-line is had, but still, you can see poor his awareness and decision making is when he's in the pocket and/or under pressure. Holds the ball too long, stares down his receivers, just looks completely out of his depth

Just a reminder of how that game started for the Jets... 1st possession: fumbled kickoff return 2nd possession: Play action, dropped pass. Play action, sack, no time to throw. Congrats it's now 3rd and 20. 3rd possession: -3 yard run. Sack, no time to throw. Congrats it's now 3rd and 19. There's a LOT wrong with that offense. It's not just the QB that needs to be better.

I get what you are saying but that's professional sports and how you overcome that is the first test. I doubt it was good for Brady's confidence when he was taken in the 6th round but he still had the mental strength to tell Kraft when first meeting him that he just made the best decision in his team's history. Allen has recently been playing every play as if it’s his last. Much like Wentz did which aided in his demise. I’m sure this is the result of massive amounts of pressure placed up hun due to a high draft pick, results and surrounding supporting cast. But for those to say he’s washed and done, talent can overcome these challenges. I mean look how much better Russ is playing considering there was a coaching change and he appears to be playing well with less desperation. Sometimes players just have a down year. Which at times is still an MVP season for other starting quarterbacks in the league.

The Jets offense of line play is suspect at best, and is certainly a contributing factor for not only Zack Wilson’s performance, but any other quarterback, in my opinion. When Bruce Paul cannot eclipse 50 yards rushing, and Dalvin, Cook shares the same struggle, it’s pretty indicator of her poor the office of wines plane.

As a Bills fan, I was happy to see the way the offense played against the Jets defense considering they usually have Josh Allen's number. Having said that, I'm not overreacting to the win. It was against a team that has no offense. The real tests will be against Philly, KC, and Dallas especially if Taron Johnson, Taylor Rapp, and Dane Jackson miss time.

If our offense can do good against a good defense that knows our offense better than anyone, I think offensively we should be able to perform well against the tough opponents in the schedule. Zach Wilson is the NOT the problem. Line can't pass protect or run block; receivers are not getting open until after Zach is on the ground, which is on them and the OC. The offense will not improve with a QB change.
