This is what Mr. Preacher purposely left out: “For the Torah being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, Elohim, having sent His own Son in the likeness of flesh of sin, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteousness of the Torah should be completed in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the matters of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the matters of the Spirit. For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace. Because the mind of the flesh is enmity towards Elohim, for it does not subject itself to the Torah of Elohim, neither indeed is it able, and those who are in the flesh are unable to please Elohim. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His. And if Messiah is in you, the body is truly dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is life on account of righteousness.” Romiyim (Romans) 8:3-10 TS2009 bible.com/bible/316/rom.8.5.TS2009

18:03 are there two different debts we are to pay? Do we still owe a debt to man? Jesus paid our debt to God but how do we pay our debt to “everybody u ever hurt, offended or sinned against”?

Good breakdown of the gospel. Love the straight forward language instead of the twenty syllable words most theologians like to use to befuddle us with. My only critique is that there is no mention of repentance.

6:50 Didn't Jesus speak Aramaic? NT was later written in Greek and that's how Tetelestai came in. Jesus wouldn't have said the word Tetelestai
@joefriday86075 жыл бұрын
Powerful message as always but Jesus didn't say or shout "tetelestai", on the cross before dying, he wasn't speaking in ancient Greek.

There is just one problem with Pastor Rick's message here and although what he has relayed may be true one very important message to his flock is missing. The message of REPENTANCE!!!! So your title for this message Pastor Rick is incomplete - "There is nothing more for you to do" - REALLY??? There is no salvation without REPENTANCE, Jesus did indeed complete what he was sent to do but we are also to repent and turn away from sin. I only wish I could hear this in your messages, but everything I've heard on this subject never seems to give the message of Repentance. Why? or have I missed something here?.....
@darrennorman56394 жыл бұрын
He mentioned Jesus was sent as our saviour. No matter what someone preaches theres always someone to criticize. I'm sure we all know we have to repent. It's in our bibles but he wasn't focused on that right now
@joyfulinourblessedhope23234 жыл бұрын
@@darrennorman5639 "I am sure we all know we need to repent" - REALLY!!!!! That is a very ignorant comment. How many times are we told by Jesus and His disciples to Repent? Oh sorry, they too also just said to themselves - everyone knows they need to repent! 😐😶

Yeah the debt is paid but you can't just go on willfully sinning.
@ronjordan28315 жыл бұрын
Paul from Canada circle the word willfully. Look it up. For example, you don't continue to go around committing fornication thinking the debt is already paid.

There is no such thing as "sin". People make mistakes, even selfish, cruel mistakes. But often times we learn valuable lessons from those mistakes and are better people for them. Other people however intentionally feast on the lives of the innocent and are in no way remorseful nor repentant. To categorize these very different actions together with the one word "sin" is disingenuous and deceitful. Jesus was invented to make worthless cowards of men. So that our most precious and vulnerable members, who are powerless to defend themselves, would have no defenders nor protectors. What kind of leader would encourage people to identify with sheep in such deceitful world, while disparaging wolves who are superior to sheep in every way except in their propencity to be exploited by men? What kind of son would be more preoccupied with pleasing his invisible sky-daddy than anything else, while making no mention of the carpenter who fed him and clothed him and wiped his sorry ass? What kind of man would let a Women wash his feet with Her tears? What kind of teacher would speak in parables while claiming we cannot hear? What kind of degenerate god would propagate the ridiculous notion that people and gods who murder their own to gain victim status and sympothy on the world stage are superior to everyone else? I am a man and I am careful to make sense, and you hear me loud and clear.

All 3 of you need to listen to pastor Warren again. Y'all are missing some things about Jesus that you need clarification on. If you had a relationship with Jesus you would know that nothing you said about Him is true.

@@donnaschneider8911 I didn't listen to pastor warren at all. I don't actually watch the videos I comment on. I agree with Hank. I have studied patriarchal religions, particularly abrahamic religions for four decades, and I want nothing to do with their mindfucking portrayals of "morality" and "goodness", apart from making every effort to destroy them. Religious texts masquerade as supreme instruction at the expense of sound discernment, productive empathy, and Justice. A genuine conclusion derived from a careful examination of the abrahamic texts, and the divisive, deceitful content therein. Is that the minority of decent people of high character within those religions are the most adept at ignoring those texts. That they are people of character NOT as a result of religion, but inspite of it. If there was a religion that had any intention of providing a sane, healthy community. It would be one that prioritizes the safety and well being of Women and Children over the wants and needs of any adult male or their egomaniacal Gods. Because this is also in the best interest of any man, son, husband, brother, and dad of decent character who want nothing more than the safety and well being of Women and Children. Therefore everyone of any significance is in agreement, and any man, God, government, institution, philosophy, ambition, etc., which stands in opposition to this highest priority is an illegitimate authority and an enemy to that community.

Ok, so you THINK Jesus was invented and there is so such thing as sin. Well there are videos on what hell is like. Please check them out because whoever you were studying under gave you the wrong information. Jesus is real, flesh and blood.He died for those sins that you were taught aren't real. He loves you and hank whether you believe in him or not. Doesn't change anything. Im concerned that you've been listening to the one who comes to kill, steal and destroy.
