Socrates said "I know that I don't know" - this means that he knew so much to be able to come to this realisation

Perhaps all that one can psychologically "learn" from others is how the basic human emotions of fear, anger, and sadness, affects them (their thoughts and behaviors) as a potential reflection of how we might suffer from the same effects. In this sense, greater self-awareness as well as insights in better understanding ourselves may be possible.

Service builds hope, hope builds love, love builds service. This requires interacting with other fellow human beings.

I guess the first issue is I'd you belive this guy you just learned from him. But for someone who has done a lot of talking, it's a bit hypocritical to hear him say this. Of course it's true. That's why those who really know keep thier mouths shut. He is also wrong about desire. You should desire the truth and only the truth. You should seek truth but only for the sake of knowing the truth. Otherwise you might as well be a mushroom.
