Our mind chatters when we stop paying attention. When we stop observing. Being alive means you notice what's happening around you every moment. You need to notice the passing of moments. You observe with all your senses together. Don't bother converting what you observe into knowledge and storing it. Just observe. To observe and to interact without prejudices is to live. Thanks JK.

im glad i saw this vid. For a while I took "attention" too much as an auditory and/or visual focus of sorts. But its more like listening to music. The best way is to Feel the music, not just listen. To use all the senses. Makes it way easier to understand.

It is like turning on social media and scrolling. You are afraid of being empty, you want to avoid the present and convince yourself to entertain yourself. So why do we chatter in our mind or on social media or anywhere with any medium? To entertain ourselves, to block off, to cut out, to be safe, to satisfy an illusion of a reality that is not present at the moment.

We also occupy ourselves with something in order to achieve something, this also applies to the celebrities among us. The most of them don't see that there is nothing to be achieved, but the consumer gives them position and power. If everyone had woken up, there would be no celebrities and millionaires. Because if no one saw and financed it, then there would be no reason to occupy yourself with an illusion.

It is of my opinion that in these times when we have the choice to click and choose discourses by the master, that we are interested in, is the cause of frustration. We want solutions like a google DIY search it is very difficult and frustrating to listen to a master who only wants us to find out our relevance by ourselves . Only through playing all his videos over and over again, can we understand him . The amazing part of that is the ‘aha-moment we get at the end of it is priceless

Descartes went through some horrible life events that made him question his entire reality. It caused great misery within his life due to the amplitude of his own cognitive dissonance. He could not find certainty in anything which drove him mad. One day he realised “I think therefore I am”, which gave him the a drop of certainty leading to the end of total cognitive dissonance. His saying “I think therefore I am” means, I am aware, therefore I exist, this is certain.

Desire leads to conflict. Can the Man lead his life without desire. when desire ends fruitfully or not, another desire comes up,thereby not allowing the mind to be empty. you can have desires but...do we desire all those thing when we are focused on some work..? we have to give some time to make clarity with desires and action required so that they don't disturb all the time....but rather ...as Sir JK would say we will make long thought of it or some philosophy out of every thing, Does Lord JK did not have desire to teach us....? but his clarity makes it effortless. when you are clear about yourself the peace would be so grate that you wont bother about desires....it like if a dog is barking ...and if you give attention it may affect you otherwise it wont, just understand what you really need...observe your desires they all will melt away, cant stop it forcefully.

Because " I" don't know the answer to the question, " who am I",every bit of information about " you" ( the other),which I fail to see as "my creation",becomes so important that "I " spend a lifetime gathering it and storing it in my content of consciousness, as memory( of that other).I then go on to " become that other",and ,ignorantly assert,"I am that" !!! It is only logical that "my" mind is fully occupied with "you "( other, observed).
