Try using the metal Braided Cables the kind you see they weave through outdoor equipment at places like Lowe’s and Tractor supply. They work better than Chains. Also, they make things you can setup with a Trip wire that Blast like a 12 Gauge Round, just for the Noise.

For me see through fences are never good enough to prevent folks from stealing. I always go for either tall wood fences, brick/stone/concrete, or metal. Whatever stops folks from seeing inside just walking by as its the temptation of seeing your stuff easily that sets them off. It also lets them seee what cameras, and lighting you have. Course they can still break in, but it helps alot just making it take that much effort from seeing and stealing.

Sorry about your theft...very frustrating. I’m confused. You have 2 nurseries! How many acres on each nursery? Asking because I have 5 acres in Georgia I’d like to plant more. Already have a pecan grove of 10 trees, pear trees, blueberries, and fig. Want to do more. Here in Florida only have a 1/2 acre, but have 14 kinds of fruit trees and raised beds for veggies- watching from Lake Wales, Florida

You might want to have someone stay on the property if you can for security 24/7 if the area is that bad! So many people have no morals or ethics anymore! They want to get everything off the backs of others! It's bad enough with the economy, but today "Thieves" are the main reason for today's business's (corporate or private) going belly up or moving out of the dangerous areas or cities! Unbelievable! Pete, that really sucks you seem like a really good guy and I enjoy all your videos. Im a 28 yr Law Enforcement Investigator. They will definately come back. My sugestion is to put someone on the property maybe a worker at night to keep those Mutts away ! Perhaps leave a radio on at night in a tent something for them not to know if someone is there. Also, File an insurance claim if you have it. YOu also can claim any loss on taxes. They most likely pawned those generators or sold them on the street or Facebook Market place ect... The Police can run a check on a data base called Leads Online if you have serial numbers for chevking pawning nationwide. You gotta create a situation where the criminals have no idea if someone is on the property ect...... Again im really sorry this happened to you I hope this helped.

Get a Dremel and dig your name & phone number into your equipment, will help with future recovery. I worked for a state LEO 5+ yrs as an instructor/rangemaster, live in Englewood and will camp on the property whenever possible if you keep getting hit by bandits and notice a pattern. Let's get these guys and make it known that your property is secure.

The biggest problem in agrofarming, permaculture or straight farming or gardens is thieving. On the south of this island (Gran Canaria) they stole 2 tons of avocados; they left the farm completely empty. What about watch dogs.
