Your Toby is one in a million. Such an amazing young man, wonderful son, loving big brother, and will no doubt be the most incredible husband & father every girl hopes to find. Oh, and he's ever so handsome too. I had to laugh at Oskar having to handle ever dirt pile. ❤

Its been 50 years almost, but I can still remember digging my hands into fresh mole hills like Oskar was doing there. The smells and the textures just all came back to me in a flash.

I admire people who choose to have a farm, a ranch or a dairy because I am a whinney baby. If it's rainy and freeing cold with a wind, I'd be pulling the blankers up and saying no thank you, not today. I couldn't do it. Bless you guys.

You certainly have hard lives, most of the work you do isn’t exactly glamorous, especially when the weather is bad, but you always seem so good humoured, and I’m sure looking after the animals is very rewarding, knowing you give them the best possible care.

I'm always so impressed that PomPom stays white! If you've ever had a long-coated white dog you know how hard that is. The Moons have so many animals in their care, and each one looks healthy and cared for. All the dogs have coats, which is no mean feat keeping them on and finding them when they get them off somewhere on an acreage. In the time the Moons have shared with us, Toby has grown from a boy to a wonderful man. I love how he cares for his younger brothers.❤

After finding the bailer yesterday I suspected the next surprise might be the turner and liner. It's great. Now look deeper in the brush and find the rack to put the bales on to take to the loft. Great finds. It looks like you have a lot of muck in that area. What do you do with it? Can it be sold to neighboring farmers as field fertilizer? Maybe there is a manure spreader hidden in the forest too. That would be another great find.
@catherinemoon30038 сағат бұрын
"Turner and liner" are new terms to me. Love to learn them. Farm equipment has about as many names as there are states is what we say in the US. I learned to call that machine a "windrow rake". 🙂

Watching Max giving kisses then nudging your pocket, he knows that is where you keep the mints. Horses are not stupid. I wonder if the field where you found the machinery, was once grown for hay. Many years ago hay and oats were the staple foods for horses.

I love that you are finding such useful equipment! I also love that you find it valuable! I would love to find something in our woods like that! All we found was an old bathtub and a birdcage! We love to fix stuff too. As a small property, we do not need a giant piece of equipment. Do you have any plans for your compost of manure? here where I live the mushroom farms bought it. It can be sterilized and used to grow mushrooms in buildings. Great stuff! I just love your Family and videos!!

We pay big bucks for horse hay manure.. more than cow manure.. for our gardens.. We just use the old feed bags and have to fill them ourselves! Some farmers buy it by the dump truck load!
