Just a suggestion. If you don't have explanations on your items people just pass them up sometimes. So put on the tag like the skeleton put vintage Halloween and eyes blink. So they know what it does and it's vintage. Etc etc. It helps the customer understand and probably sell better!! Love the 3D PRINTING items. So cool!! Love the booth. Nice guys! Doing a great job!

You can buy stuff you would never be able to buy to out on eBay and unless you’re Josh and hailey you come down to earth if you live in a small area like me and don’t have a social media following. It’s STRESSFUL trying to sell enough to pay for the booth and make profit. Lol

14:19 Murano glass is not a brand it's a series of islands north of Venice, Italy. They are renown for their glassmaking with dozens if not hundreds of glassmakers. That being said, I doubt that piece is Murano glass. Original pieces from that region are usually finely made and signed/identified.

So as a pottery and glass collector ,I recommend that you do a Google lens search on an item before you price it. There is so much competition out there and you do not want to overprice yourself out of a sale. Assigned piece is going to bring you more money than an unsigned. A lot of time when resellers and collectors are shopping if they take a look at one piece and realize it's overpriced they won't even bother to look at the rest of your booth so when you're doing these more specific items I just recommend that you do a little more homework on them. I hope you guys make tons and tons of money I love your videos
@HairyTornado Жыл бұрын
Everything in our booth is very very cheap. We base our prices on eBay solds and generally go for half of what the item is selling for online
@Brendakay69 Жыл бұрын
@@HairyTornado in general, booths are usually priced lower than eBay you kind of got to go by what the average selling price is for your area. . Now I'm not a reseller, I am a memory collector .I am 54 years old and this is just what's been through my experience in New York. For your area, it may be different 😁. Your videos are always so fun to watch and I can't wait to see how the flip house turns out

Josh and Haley, the enthusiasm you exude for your booth project is pure delight and is definitely inspiring others. I think you should write a short (or long) story about reselling, things you learn, tips specifically directed at booth reselling (because it is becoming a very popular and sensible venue for sales). Book name, "The Gumball Experience", in fact, give your booth that name.

My dad drove a milk truck back in the late 1950s. He picked up cans of milk from all of the dairy farms in the area, loaded them into the milk truck by hand, and then unloaded them at the milk plant. So I can confidently tell you that those milk “crates” are cans. 😂 Of course, they went out of use long before you were born! They make pretty good stools as is. I suppose putting a wood top on them could make an interesting end table. Make sure you check the bottom of the cans before putting any weight on them. That’s where they tend to rust.
@katherinemorey6517 Жыл бұрын
I'm here to second that: they are milk cans and I've sold quite a few over the years from my antiques and collectibles shop. Many people use them as stools, usually adding decorative cushioning, but they also make great porch, patio or garden decor, as is or painted. They'd look great, one on either side of an entryway door with plants on top. I can tell, Josh, that you seem to be struggling with what to call your space. You're right; it isn't an "antique" booth, so just call it the booth. We'll know what you're talking about. You're both doing a great job with all your projects, and you're very enjoyable to watch!! Thanks for all your efforts 🙂

I love your enthusiasm for the booth. However go easy now that the booth is stocked….keep your eyes open for items that reach out and grab you. Listen to Haley….she’s going to get a good sense of what’s worthy of the booth. Also in a booth things will ‘sit’ because your market is much smaller than what you are used to with whatnot and eBay where things fly off the shelf, so to speak.
