My theory is the two movies, "Get Out" and "Us", are in the same universe. The "Tetherd" experiment was an attempt by the "Coagula Cult" at creating bodies to transfer their consciousness into, instead of abducting people for that purpose. So "Us" is a kind of prequel.

How is Us a prequel when everyone in America except the main four died?
@moonbear8905 жыл бұрын
Ohh! I also had the whole government experiment gone wrong theory but never tied it to the cult from get out! @obamadrake45355 жыл бұрын
Captain Everyman in the early stages of the tethered project they were involved but the conscious didn't transfer so they tried for themselves and that's how they both connect us is not a prequel
@shardellthomas2055 жыл бұрын
@@ScottSullivanTV Who said that everyone died? In the original hands across America there were gaps in the chain. So, ideally there could have been areas or states where the tethered didn't take over. I can see the original posters theory as being a thing. Those responsible for the tethered experiment had to have protocols put into place in the case their experiment backfired. The privelege will have a way out over those who aren't as fortunate.
@dopeitsjay585 жыл бұрын
Scott Sullivan it never said everyone was dead and get out could take place before the events in US. If you remember the government project was already abandoned when she was a child, that leaves enough time for those scientist to set up shop in a new town and begin other experiments.

I definitely feel like it was more traditional horror; more running, more jump-scares, etc.

Jordan is the Blackest biracial person I’ve ever experienced..I forget he wasn’t raised with a black family, that’s weird in itself...I LOVE HIS IDAF PERSONALITY and how he gets away with it off of the strength that his Mom And Wife are white!!..❤️❤️❤️

Bae Goals wow, I didn't even know that! That's actually interesting if you think about it bc it probably lends some perspective for him when it comes to writing such films. He has a glimpse into both worlds and therefore is able to extract what he needs from each for these genius movies. As someone who's Asian and White, I've definitely found myself mulling over the differences and similarities between my "two halves." He's a genius, plain and simple.

Same its been a long time coming and im happy blacks are getting the opportunity to take on a genre other than comedys, drug dealing dramas, and slave movies. This is so original and beyond dope!!😁😁

@@wolfy4734 That wasn't racist that was a compliment,the only racist thing here,is you automatically assuming it was racist. Oh god a white person said the word black 😐
