So the day before an update you could go to the item shop, watch it reset, and before your next match you would get a teaser for a new item coming tomorrow. The last thing I think they ever did this was the Batman Collab in Season X

Your first point: If there’s news, every outlet will post it. If something big happens in the world, do you expect ONLY Fox to cover it? No. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, EVERYONE will be covering it. Your second point: “I really want them to clarify if something is not 100% going to happen” that’s precisely why they specify it as a rumor? 99% of the time, you’ll see a tweet start with “CONFIRMED:” or “RUMOR:”. You’re getting angry about the FNAF situation because of leakers? Nothing was leaked. It was a FNAF announcement lining up with a Fortnite update. That had nothing to do with leaks or leakers at all. You wish you’d get more info? They give all the information they HAVE. If they knew “we’re getting a Don Toliver emote, but no wrap,” they would’ve said that. They can only share what they know. How can they give information they don’t have? Your “conspiracy”: Yes. Everyone knows this. This isn’t a conspiracy. Fortnite is aware of leakers. There was a “God gun” back in chapter 1 with the description “You’re not supposed to be seeing this”. It’s a win-win. Epic gets free advertising, the leakers get impressions/revenue. The leakers aren’t dumb. It’s a symbiotic relationship. They have a SAC code because they are ultimately Fortnite creators with over 1000 followers. This video is my first time coming across your channel, and after a brief look at your recent uploads, it seems like you focus WAY too much on negativity. If you don’t like the game, don’t play it. All you do is come up with half-assed complaints for things that you dislike about the game. If those are the things you think, that’s fine. But quit trying to build your channel off of pure controversy. Play the game for fun. ENJOY it. If you don’t, what’s the point? None of this is meant to come from a place of hate. Massively disagree with your first point. These leakers aren't all working together, they're independent of each other. They're going to post the same leaks. Just how it is. And to be honest, I only follow ifiremonkey because he's sort of a one-stop shop for all Fortnite content. So if he neglected to post about some new feature just because Hypex did, that would be annoying.

To address your first point: The problem with leaking is that, ideally, it's a one-person job. One person to look through the files, same person to post it. But, like everything in the world, there's competition because multiple people want the same job in a small market like, y'know, Fortnite leaks where maybe five new things happen an update. That's why you end up getting several people saying the same thing: Because ideally only one person does it all

@@beaualoevw I posted a whole ass thesis on his last video about leaks basically saying the whole thing was unnecessary because one content leaks only benefit the game since more people play/spend due to knowing about releases beforehand and two "leakers" harming their reputations when they publish unverified claims (yes they almost exclusively post *verified* claims because they're literally epic employees in all but name) is _their_ problem and no one else's.

I have seen that leakers tend to make literally ANYTHING related to fortnite in the vaguest way possible. You can say that the fnaf stuff can be an example of this but just yesterday I saw shina post a video about how Ronaldo is joining fatal fury and shina was like "since Ronaldo is fine with joining a game this could mean he could join fortnite potentially???" And same goes for when leakers and people in general think skins will rerelease because an anniversary or a new game release is gonna happen or something. Leak accounts posting the same thing isn't anything new, they're all independant so reporting on the same things is unavoidable and going to happen. As for the other problem, it's something that happens in most popular games/communities with a prominent leaking community (like Genshin) where leaking content and posting even the most vague rumour is for clout and attention farming by the most popular accounts. SInce you showed their names, despite saying you wouldn't which was a bit weird, Shiina is absolutely the worst of the lot and it's why I stopped looking at and blocked their page first and eventually went to accounts like FN_Assist that post actually credible/accurate info more often among other things like stat changes when an item get's buffed/nerfed and such. And yes, these developers absolutely do know about these accounts and use it for free advertising (Especially with games like Genshin to use as an example again.)
