Rising tide frees all wood. Brave even considering it. Good scouting and beta at these extreme levels. The surfing was pretty interesting with all those floaters.

was out at Algonquian this afternoon when the gauge at LF was over 9. There were dozens and dozens of whole mature trees floating down, and a whole flotilla of large chunks (like boat size or larger) floating by at around 8 mph or so. A whole forest REALLY is flowing downstream

This was the highest the river had been since May 2022, so I'm guessing this freed up quite a bit of wood. Hopefully most of the big stuff has settled somewhere new by now.
