There's so much bts you can find on Sierra 117. We called in Narnia. You butterfly jump up the final section above the structures. You coop spawn through the invisible wall and you find a wall of trees and bush. Walk through it and you enter Narnia. A phantom you can flip, a pit in the earth like an arena, untextered ground that makes it look like you're walking in the sky, underwater sections you can walk in. It was magic. Pure rose tinted glasses lol

@a28taste probably but I don't think on this channel. I'm pretty sure h3 has acrohpobia. You can check it out yourself with a buddy pretty easily. Just co op spawn your buddy through that invisible wall. You'll know it worked because the screen will jitter up and down super fast

One of my favorite things about the OG halo games was breaking out of the maps. Even though the game obviously didn’t intend for you to do it, there’s always a weird way to pull it off, and it feels like a game of its own doing it. The reward is a mundane area that you ordinarily don’t have access to, but it feels oddly rewarding finally getting there

It's crazy how you guys specifically pointed out those guard towers, I was 9 years old when I first got out of the map using the method at the last area of this mission when I first saw them!! I think similar towers exist on Zanzibar/Last Resort too in the far distance on the beach if memory serves me right.. I always wanted to visit them.

Exactly what I was thinking, the vista overlooking the lake is too wide to just use a texture for the island, the lack of parallax effect would make it it too obvious. Otherwise there's nothing there to talk about.

There's another off map section in the first mission that you could argue was un used content. It's much bigger and full of environments that seems to be part of what could have been a mission. It's possible they used it for testing but I'm telling you there was way to much work put in to be just 3d backgrounds. Especially considering how early this area was possibly made in the Dev cycle.

There is also a whole area beyond the Brute chieftain's Phantom where the sniper rifle is in this mission. I used Acrophobia to quickly board the Chieftain Phantom right side turret. The Phantom will take off and wont go beyond the soft barrier, dismount and REmount the turret as it crosses the barrier, and jump off before it falls into the water after a short ride. Some of the water area at the end will not unalive you unless you fall far enough. But jump off and theres a whole area to the map's end. When you reach the poorly textured "crater" you're there!

That is actually from the recording file. It actually makes zero sense as to why it’s there.
