I just bought a pair of Nike Tiempo Legend Pro turf shoes. They fit well in all places, except not enough room heightwise in the toe box. I also bought a pair of Pantofola d'Oro which really live up to their name, Golden Slipper - I highly recommend them.

Does Tiempo 10 runs small as well? I had the 9 half size big, but it was still a bit tight. Since the 10 is not leather, it should stretch less so im thinking going for a full size up.

Hey josh, I recently got my Tiempo legend 10 elites and are loving them, but the insole of mine is not glued down like the legend 9 and keeps coming up to the side of the cleat in the toe box. I just wanted to ask if your pair is glued down and have you had them same problem?(I plan on returning them, it’s not the biggest problem but for $230 I don’t want any mess ups)

@@jake8243 I actually like the upper on the pros better than I do the elites. I believe they’re lighter also. I have a pair of both and the pros fell more broken in out the box. You can’t really go wrong with either one. If you get the pros you won’t be disappointed, if they fit your foot type.

The Copa's UK and Euro sizing is different from the Nike's. Copa UK 8.5 = US 9 Nike UK 8.5 = US 9.5 How do i pick?

I just ordered the Tiempo X and was torn between the adidas copa, but I just hate that high heel cup. I tore my Achilles in a pair of adidas a few years ago so that might have swayed my choice a little too. Excited to see how the fake leather is though. Hope it’s good.

The new leather is super soft. However, the quality felt really bad and my shoes started peeling off the sole after 5-6 uses so I returned them. Gonna get the copas instead

Do feel the tiempo legend 10 is more of an unofficial ctr360 maestri or the magista opus. Love the copa pure and do think the tiempo is more of its own thing rather than being a continuation of the tiempo line. However as good as they are on their own rights,don’t think they really measure to the older adipure/11pro models or any of the older tiempos

You mentioned the Tiempo World Cup color way having less grip than the black color way. The situation is the same with the Phantom GX. The black Nike sticker on the outside of the boot took away all the stickiness that Gripknit provides. And that’s just one thing the WC pack does wrong. It feels like they threw it together too quickly. The WC pack apart from looking good is all round rubbish. Very Disappointing.

I've had a pair of Nike MERCURIAL boots for about two years and recently switched to Adidas COPA. My notes (comparing between the two): - COPAs feel a lot more comfortable from the inside, because they kinda adapt to the curves of my foot (MERCURIALs kinda resist) - With the COPAs, my touches on the ball are a lot cleaner, and they performed so much better when I was making all these foot saves as a keeper during a 3 day tournament that happened 2 weeks ago I have nothing against Nike (or any other brand), but given my previous experience with the MERCURIALs, I'd think twice before reverting to the check mark brand. It comes down to how your feet fit in the boots. adidas and Nike have a slightly different fit at the same foot size. I was always an adidas guy but now the Nike fits me well, and so does Puma.

Mine has lasted about half a year without any problem. I would advise you to get a shoe dryer, because the leather breaks down if it’s left wet.

Yeah, the copa pure .1 have bad build quality. The soleplate split, and the tongue split in half after only a few wears.

The Copa Pure is fantastic, your loss. Only the quality of the leather matters, not the animal. Generally roos are softer, but most calfs are insanely soft, softer than a buck kangaroo mostly always
