I am here for the Porsche content, but I enjoy all of your content. If you're wondering why the E92 content is preforming better than the 997 content I can only offer you my insight as a regular viewer and Porsche-fan. The reason I prefer your channel over most other automotive channels is that you show all the steps and what trips you up and how you fix them- most other build channels just have a montage or jump-cut over the "boring stuff"- but that's why I'm here. The flip-side to that is with the 997 being a body swap there is A LOT of install, bolting and screwing stuff back together, and you have done a good job of interjecting where you are upgrading things, but I have noticed the pacing feels off. Whereas with the 996 and the earlier 997 stuff I felt like I was learning a ton and it didn't feel like 20+ minutes had gone by. The last couple videos felt like they were longer/slower even-though the videos are all the same approximate length - I know that has to be a tough balance to hit with what happens in real life and what you can do in the edit- so for me, it just seems like a pacing issue, (may come across to some as repetitive). Overall, I still think you're doing great and this is one of my favorite Automotive channels!
@matt13ross7 ай бұрын
You're saying the Porsche videos are too slow? I feel like I've upped the pace of ally videos to make sure no one skips ahead.
@shr00m77 ай бұрын
@@matt13ross I'm still enjoying them, but they feeeeel slower. I'd have to go back and really study some of the 997 videos to better articulate my point- it could be a combination of music selection or content- like not as many interesting/exciting problems or mods, or just the stage of the build is naturally a slower pace, I mean i trust that you're upping the pace through the edit- but I wouldn't worry too much about it, I think you're still putting out quality.

It's a tough balance for sure. Someday when I can do this full time.........

The indentations and creases in your rear seats you’ll be able to get out with a heat gun on a low setting. Might take a few attempts so you don’t burn them, but you can also cool with a damp cloth and heat in short bursts. I got rid of creases on mine the same way, as well as marks on the leather covers either side of the PCM. It’s amazing what a difference it makes, just don’t be tempted to heat too long and check the surface temp with your have every 10 seconds or so. Don’t forget to route the emergency engine cover release wire to under the rear light too :-)

The Porsche content is excellent. My opinion on why the E92 content is getting more views is just that they are a model more people are likely to be working on at home. I came to your channel by researching Porsche maintenance. 911 Turbo content is more niche. I reckon a collab with Tavarish or Mat Armstrong on a GT3 or even a 918 would send your content stratospheric. Whatever happens, keep on producing content and the rewards will come.
