Aer Lingus Leases 2 757's from Air Contractors to fly from shannon to boston and newyork. Boston flights daily and newyork flights every day but Tuesday. It replace the single airbus a330 based there.

Great catch, Jen! As for Emirates, they have been known to do their own in-cockpit videos of inaugural flights (just check here on KZbin). Ordinarily transatlantic 757s are not much fun, but BOS-SNN is the shortest scheduled transatlantic run anyone can make, so I suppose this route is the 'least annoying' of them all.

I've been on 747s across the Atlantic but have never been on a 757 ... as one who doesn't fly much at all anymore, why aren't 757s comfortable in transatlantic flights?

This is just a temporary livery, the other two 757s will be painted in full aer lingus colours, and then this aircraft will go back to be painted in full colours as well. Great video!

jenf777 Yeah, they had a delay with cabin fitting so they had to miss their initial paint slot. Good thing is, it seems they really focused on getting a good interior for the passengers so the temp job could be worth it.

I'm not far from Boston and would love to go and watch planes ... people have said Constitution Beach is the best place, but I was there and one really isn't that close. Can you recommend the best spots to watch planes landing and taking off from Logan? Your video is beautiful and looks very close ... I'm assuming you either work for the airlines or Massport? Thanks for the share.
