This is them getting rid of her out of nowhere but still using her sword somehow all over again, except they didn't even do that this time, as Amy said they didn't even give her a nominal tribute

I get why they killed Derek at the end and it's possibly due to his other projects. James Gunn just announced that he's planning to connect the DC shows, films, and games together from here on out. He said that the actors will split their time across all three mediums. So since the news of Henry Cavill possibly no longer being Superman again, that would mean that Tyler Hoechlin would be the new DCU Superman. Not just on TV anymore with Superman and Lois, but the upcoming new Superman film, Superman Legacy, and any games. His schedule is about to be chaotic.

I actually loved the movie, tbh I thought the movie was just fine without Dylan, Arden, Cody, and Daniel, and this is coming from someone’s who’s fav character is stiles. I loved seeing everyone else and I thought Jackson and Malia kept it funny. I also like Hikari much more than Kira because Kira’s character was really annoying and Arden did not to a good job at acting imo. Jackson being there doesn't make sense and is useless. There is no way that Derek should have a child that is as old as the amount of time Allison has been dead. If they were going to give him a kid, it should have been with Braden, and he should have been younger, or the time jump should have been bigger. I think Allison should have stayed dead. The overuse of fuck (the word and the action) is kind of annoying. The Greenberg line didn't make sense to me. This movie has the plot holes of a bad wattpad fanfic. If they did a different storyline, it could have been better, but who are we kidding.

The thing you said about letting the actors just do whatever is probably true because they did not have a script when they started filming. 😭 It was being written as they go. Tyler Hoechlin wasn’t even coming back and then they added him in the middle of production and people were confused how they could do that if filming had already started. It's them letting Derek die by fire, orphaning his son, after what happened to his family that killed me. Let's not forget Harris also played a part in Kate killing them all. Someone told me this entire movie was set up to prioritize Scott's happy ending and it's true. He got the girl, the kid, and a new purpose. A mess. They honestly should have had it Derek centered since he was the king of the chess board in 3b and the main character trying to kill all of them killed his family. Even bringing back Allison would have made sense with that plot.

They could’ve done so much more: 1: if Kira was there, she definitely would’ve finally been able to leave the skinwalkers and control her fox spirit, maybe even have achieved a couple more tails. 2: They could’ve showed more kitsunes, especially more types of Kitsunes and that could’ve explained why Hikari was able to give Scott her fox fire. After all we only saw a thunder Kitsune(Kira) a celestial Kitsune(Noshiko, but we know nothing of her abilities) and a nogitsune. 3: explore more about Eli, especially his relationship with Derek and maybe show us him refusing to transform a couple of times. Maybe even create a younger pack, that would’ve taken up the role of protecting Beacon Hills while they were out fighting the hunters in the world. 4: if Stydia was broken up, at least show us Lydia’s premonition 5: show us or at least tell us why Scalia broke up, how she got with Parrish 6: the hunters, they completely erased the hunters and how they were trying to kill every supernatural creatures 7: Lydia was nerfed and underutilized 8: they brought back Allison, they could’ve done more by making it a moral dilemma of(can we bring others back? Is it right to bring her back? Is it right to bring only her back) 9: KIRA, KIRA, KIRA. Maybe introduce even other Asian folklore and more 10: Hikari and Liam were done so dirty in the movie 11: what happened to Kate? 12: why did Melissa and Chris broke up? 13: and this is just my thing(just like me liking the movie) I would’ve loved for Stydia to have a banshee daughter or farshee son, since the show ended with Scalia, them having a baby, maybe give Eli some siblings

I think that's also why Kat graham wouldn't go on legacies because of how kind of bad it was because they hardly mentioned anything about the Bennett witches on the show and how bad she was treated and we see with teen wolf the movie they barely mention stiles or kira and they try to make a storyline with confusing stuff because kira's mom literally created the main purpose of the storyline. They should have made this movie about Lydia because I have been always fascinated with banshees because on the vampire diaries I was more interested with witches instead of vampires and in teen wolf I was more interested with banshees but overall they could have kept this movie and left us alone

But with Josie and Lizzie, Bonnie was helping them with magic so she should have been brought up and Esther's mentor was a Bennett witch so I would think during witch history they would talk about Bonnie the witch that saved the town and with the originals and Klaus being so popular why not talk about the witch that took Kol and Klaus down but they brought back Matt multiple times for no reason because people didn't want Matt and we didn't see the original family until the last season and hope was suppose to be the most powerful supernatural ever but we never really saw how powerful because it was all about Landon. There should have been more about Bonnie because without Bonnie there would be no hope because Bonnie had to break the link that would have killed all of the originals and before you say Bonnie wasn't important in that situation, Klaus could have found any other witch but he got Bonnie to do it because we know Klaus has different witches. So Bonnie is pretty important so that's why I brought that up because we are talking about important people being left out of rebooted stuff and the people being left out being important to the storyline :)

He is the chemistry teacher, and if you go back and watch the first couple of seasons you would realise the only person he really had a beef with was Stiles. It's like they were banking on Stiles coming back. The villains all have something against Stiles. The teacher hated him, he defeated/tricked the nogitsune, and one could argue that he killed Allison, so she might have wanted revenge against him. Stiles is being targeted and Scott and gang is there to protect him. Also the film sucked so much. You can really tell that they didn't have a script. Jeff himself was even out saying that he was writing the script as they were already filming. I think that was what Dylan O'Brien was talking about when he said that it felt rushed, as in they didn't even have a script, which was why he decided not to join. Honestly this should be a lesson to everyone to at least see and read the script before signing on.

And how the cast defeats (not kill because Void can probably never die) Void is that, in actual Japanese lore, to stop a yoka (Void's kitsune species; iirc, "nogitsunes" are a subspecies) possession, you have to make yourself something else; because, just as in the show, a yoka cannot be two things at once; it breaks the kitsune's hold on you. BUT IN THE MOVIE, Void is both a wolf and a fox????? Like???? THAT'S HOW THE CAST stopped HIM.

season 3 was unarguably the peak season of the show because stiles got his major part being void and kira's plot thickened and she became such a badass and then a very heart breaking death of allison. so they thought to squeeze what bit of attention and money left out of the die hard fans and come out with an actual ff. teen wolf is my favorite tv show because i grew up watching it and got really attached so i as incredibly obssesed with the show for most of my life. after this monstrosity of a film though, i want to forget i ever even watched it. not the show itself even though as i grow older i see how cringey it is but its very sentimental to me. this movie was undoubtly the worst. and they are even making a spin off show. i refuse to even look at the show because i know it will disappoint me more. i couldn't even watch the entire movie because of how badly it was written and directed. so many uses of terrible effects just for the sake of it. the misappropriation (idk if thats right lol) of asian culture and folklore. the addition of terrible plot lines, i.e malia and parish revival of allison, no stiles or kira the leads of season 3, jackson + harris + liam x asian girl + deaton + derick's son, totally irrelevant characters. yeah the derick plot helped the story but it took away from the actual plot i think. the cursing, the many many many awkward moments and stares. it was like they said let's pick up where we left off with no character development. Lydia could've become more intuned with her powers and be more able to control her voice. there was absolutely no reason as to why allison should've been able to be revived if not also aiden or whichever. jackson was irrelevant as well because he did nothing in season 3 and like, his long term lover doesnt even want him there so there was no point for him to be there. you would also think there'd be like better fighting scenes and character developement in the movie. it was literally just a bunch of flashbacks and omg it's this character and omg remember this moment we had. it was extremly infuriating to watch after so much anticipation and build up. dishonor to the entire series. blacklisted lol.

It took me a while to actually realize what pissed me off so much about the movie, bc it was dumb but so was the show, acting was mid but it was the same in the show... then I realized these characters are supposed to be in their 30s (some older still), they have their own lives and careers but yet, they keep making rash and stupid decisions like they did when they were teenangers... like yeah, physically they've changed but it seems like mentally nothing progressed and it's so dumb. Because what is the purpose of a "reunion" movie if there IS NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT... it was two hours (i wanted to unalive myself when i saw how long it was) of the same characters (minus stiles and kira who like you said where the most important characters for this specific plotline) making the same mistakes and decisions. In an interview Shelley Hennig said that she asked to have a naked scene in the movie to kick start her back into going to the gym (which would track as she did have a few naked scenes in the show so its a reasonable ask) and said that Ryan Kelley had asked for the same thing (which also tracks for a creature that burns his clothes off), so the writers decided that they would have there characters get together and have the naked scene be a sex scene. It was the fact that the characters who normally interact don’t at all and the ones that do it doesn’t make any sense at all. We wanted a continuation not a retelling of a old story line we already had a whole season about the nugustune and they didn’t even do anything different with they copied and pasted episodes and turned it into a movie. The fight scenes were barely hitting as well they brought so many characters back just for nostalgia not for any real part of the story Jackson didn’t even do anything and they introduced two new characters and they didn’t even do anything till the last min, actually they barely did anything at all. Does Trin think that Tyler Lee Hoechlin is like…mostly not white?....because he is.... lol Tyler "claims" he has has "some" Native American roots, but the majority of his ethnic background is of German, Swiss-German, English, Norwegian, Scottish, and Irish descent. Tyler is literally (or at least mostly) a Celto - Germanic white person. Just because a white person is has dark brown hair and tan skin that doesn't automatically exclude them from being white. Like on my Norwegian side; only one of my uncles has dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and naturally tan skin, and he took a the "MyHeritageDNA" test and his results came back as 95.9% Scandinavian and 4.1% Italian. My uncle also has a son and a daughter with a woman that is half Norwegian and half Danish. And guess what? Both of his son and daughter has blonde hair, blue eyes, and white skin. So....just because one of the parents has dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and naturally tan skin. That doesn't automatically mean that their kids will look exactly the same if you take into account the darker parent's ancestry...

What bothers me so much isn't just the fact that two of my favorite characters weren't in it (Kira and Stiles). Its the fact that Kira and Stiles where literally the most important characters in the nogitsune storyline. Like I can't spell so I had to look up the word nogitsune and like the first picture that comes up, is a picture of Stiles. I want someone competent to make another Teen Wolf movie, just to fix this. I knew from the second I found out that Dylan O'Brien wasn't going to be in the movie, that this was going to be, as Trin said, a shit show...Like how did they manage to screw it up this badly. I don't have Paramount+ so I can't watch the movie, but I wanted to gaslight myself so badly into believing that this movie was that the very least and okay movie, but the videos and reviews I've seen about the movie calling it terrible speaks volumes.
