Starmer was in the CPS when they didn't investigate Cyril Smith until after he was dead.... the same as Jimmy Saville. A police force was sat on witness statements from one of Michael Smyth's victims while Starmer was head of the DPP as well. The only reason a police force would do that is if the CPS had told them not to bother. At one stage there were FIVE different police forces all sat on victim witness statements about Michael Smyth.... If I recall correctly, Ms Phillips was rarely shy about what she said as a guest on 'Have I Got News For you'. Well, Ms Phillips, the news I have for you is that, as a politician, you are accountable for your decisions, you conduct, and your behaviour. People, regardless of their political leanings, are entitled to seek accountability as to your decisions and the rationale behind them. The same applies to Starmer, and the lack of release of information from the Home Office by Cooper. If these people stand by their decisions, an inquiry will not harm them.

If we were to. arrest people who "looked like" they were about to commit a crime instead of actually knowing the truth do you think that would be justified? you and others are condemning a decision, that is controversial I will admit that, and making assumptions about the reasons behind it without actually knowing the facts and reasons behind that decision.
