You did great!!! I absolutely LOVE the old ornate gold frames!! They look amazing on a gallery wall or just with art in them. I went to Salvation Army yesterday and found 3 big storage bins! I was soo excited! Hubby and I are cleaning out the shed and garage this weekend! I just really want to thank you soo much for your channel and all you do for people. I was bed ridden for over 10 years due to Lyme disease! I didn’t drive for over 7 years and I am just getting back to driving, even though it makes me quite anxious. I am able to watch you and see what you do and how you get through it all and it is truly inspiring and I just want you to know how helpful you have been and are to many many people!!

I had Lyme Diesease when I was in 2nd Grade... I'm 45 now... I was the 1st Child in Connecticut to contract it. My BIGGEST symptom that I recall EXTREMELY clear was my swelling... I could not put on shoes... That was also my 1st symptom.... Now bc of Lyme I have an autoimmune Disease... I was not bed ridden AT ALL but I was VERY sick. I hope ur feeling as amazing as me!!! ❤️

From my experience and doing research I found that only after years of donating my own hair Wigs for Kids do charge for their wigs. Locks of Love is the one that does not charge their patients. Please do some research and read the fine print.

I've donated my hair 4 times now, since I don't need to have a certain style, I just wear a ponytail till its long enough to cut. The last two times I donated to "ChildrenWithHairLoss". When I had checked, they too did not charge the family for the wigs. Things may have changed tho, I'm about 2" from another donation. I've been told that gray hair is usable. :)

Hello! I think the charity that uses donated hair to make wigs for kids with cancer is,”Locks for Love.” My dentist grew his hair to donate and it influenced me to do the same. Great thing for your daughter to do! It is good for us to do good things to help people. I know you are really proud of your kids. I am sure you have been a good example.

I went to Savers, found amazing stuff, and was in & out in less than 5.00 min with self check out.. I also went to Deseret Industries.. Always find great stuff there, Goodwill needs to watch their pricing.. A lot of broken junk too..

Those are brass colored wheat. We had cat tails growing in our gully. They are tall with a thin stock and the bloom is anywhere between 6-12" long, and is the diameter of a quarter. There are mini versions of them too that I used in fall flower arrangements, especially for Thanksgiving. I also used dry wheat in fall arrangements. A bbq would make a great Xmas present. You could hide it at Tiffany's or Carrie's house until the big day. Also pay the extra to have it assembled, it is so worth it. You are correct. They are Japanese tea cups. Yes groovy

Proud of Rachel: I have a granddaughter who has donated her hair twice now! What an awesome thing to do. I cringed when you went by the Westmoreland blue wedding cake box (on a pedestal; woulda given my eye teeth for it! I always pick up reasonably priced gravy boats; I firmly believe the children's table should have their own. Plus they are great for hot fudge sauce! I liked the silver circle wall hangings! Have you seen the old scenery pictures with neat sayings stenciled/letters on them? Especially journey-type quotes. Recently I have bought several cheap art books with lovely pictures; I hoard empty picture frames and mats so when I find a picture I like, I am ready!

Im enjoying it very much, although my niche is different from yours, I enjoy seeing the variety of goods available. If Im not thrifting Im watching other people thrift LOL on youtube. Our stores seem to have more "antiques" and "vintage" and our prices are lower. We don't have goodwill, but we have value village which, I think is like savers in the states. I think it is great that your daughter is donating her hair. I will be spreading the word about the organization she found. I think the word you may be thinking of for the shadow box with roses is vignette? I wanted to say something about the old dishes and glasses that have part of the decoration worn off and that it can be caused by going through the dishwasher. My parents only had one set of dishes with a rose pattern and gold trim, they were used day in and day out, they never owned a dishwasher but after many decades the designs were nearly gone from most of them. Thanks for another great video. P.S. I also like the "cute" Halloween items. Hope you will show us your home Halloween decor. once it is finished.

Diorama is the word you are thinking of, maybe, for the rose frame? You're right about the right frames being worth good money. I picked up some Danish metal frames with convex glass a few weeks ago. (does your new camera have a 'stabiliser' setting? Maybe it's just my eyes, but it feels like things are a bit more motion-blurred these days.)

I like the change up challenge; better quality/higher return items, it's a change in perspective and it gets us all thinking differently. I'm curious about the wedding cake compote/candy dish at 12:12-12:16 (blue with a Fenton 'ish look to it) and the red one later on at 29:13 (likely just flashed) are they still worth money or time to pick up? They seemed popular for a while and I wondered if it was still "a thing". Great idea to donate Rachel's hair but as mentioned by others you have to do some real research and make sure the charities are truly charitable. Thanks for the video, another fun tag along.😊
