What £60m?? League champions prize fund in the SPL is £2.7m Group stage qualification in CL is £14m and has been since 2021, then its £2m for a win £800k for a draw and nothing for a defeat. You of course earn more if u get out the group, something Scottish clubs have not done in over a decade, and with next season being the last time Scotland gets a automatic group stage spot Celtic will have to spend big to challenge in Europe next season. The new CL set up will cripple a already poor standard league in the SPL and I feel sorry for Scottish clubs who are the ones who miss out with new set up

Recruitment need to look in other areas of the world - not English championship players who demand high wages with 0 return and fraught with injuries. The biggest difference is quality. Sevco/Zombieland have a team of "triers". Very little skill but they'll run about all day for "ra peepel". Celtic on the other hand have a team full of technically superior players. McGregor, O'Riley, Hatate, Kyogo, etc. Even if O'Riley leaves this summer, more money on top of CL money plus if Frimpong goes from Leverkusen, thats more again. Should be able to build from a position of strength and dominate Scotland for a few more years at least. Rangers wise, I fully expect TavPen, Goldson, Cantwell, Lawrence, Barisic, Yilmaz, Lundstram, Butland to all go and maybe a few others as well, with fire-sale price tags. Long long years ahead for Sevco fans

The sad truth if it is that Celtic haven’t feared rangers since Gerrard was manager. He had something about him, even in the years that Celtic won the league. They beat Celtic at Parkhead in one of those trophyless seasons. I genuinely think replacing gerrard has been the biggest challenge rangers have faced over the last couple of years. As a rangers fan i congratulate celtic on having the bottle to win leagues when so many rangers players absolutely bottle it at the slightest sign of pressure. Celtic show the winning mentality time and again and you get what you deserve when you don't have the balls to turn up for a fight. Rangers need at least 10 new players of quality and we don't have the money to get a single signing wrong now that the likes of goldson, souttar, davis, barrasic, dessers, have bottled the big money champions league spot on offer for the league winners. Celtic deserve the bragging rights and not one real football fan can say differently.
