The food was average. Cheese boat? Italy has better. Soup Dumplings? The Chinese. Tell me an actual good dish. I have not been impressed yet so please don't disappoint me.

@@jones8610 the chinese soup dumplings are way different than khinkali, we use different techniques, spices and meat. khachapuri, so called “cheese boat”, is way different than pizza and nothing like it. both of the dishes I mentioned above are delicious, but they are quite overrated because there are tons of more impressive foods in georgia. pkhali, bazhe, chakapuli, chikhirtma, lobiani, mchadi, chvishtari, elarji, kharcho, chkmeruli, ajapsandali and so many more. not to mention chacha, great wine, cheese, herbs, walnuts and desserts like pelamushi and churchkhela. georgia is one of the oldest countries in the world, our culture is rich and unlike any other and our cuisine is way above average, it’s a well known fact in the world of culinary arts.

Never thought I’d drop tears on a cuisine video… thanks for being so accurate and for appreciating how big of a piece Supra is to the Georgian culture and identity itself. Whats fascinating about the country is that even as a Georgian, You feel like a tourist with all the good impressions you get once you visit a region for a first time.. Every corner of the country is both very diffetent and very Georgian at the same time. Its really hard to describe. I remember having the same thoughts I had when I went to Svaneti and ate my first real Kubdari on a roadside diner, a place you’d never imagine to have anything tasty in there.. but had food that I’ll remember even after visiting any fancy restaurant in the world. The experience is just mind-blowing!

I am from Georgia and i love it that you opened another georgian restaurant outside of country. You nailed Khinkhali and make sure that that "dumpling" be juicy. One thing that i didnt liked is that you dont make imeruli khachapuri correctly, so learn that on internet. Appreciate and love your idea. Good luck in your business.

Best of luck! The Georgian food culture really is wonderful and should be more popular, because it's simply so easy to make (not everything but most things) but also so delicious. I hope you add more complex Georgian dishes to your restaurant, there is so much you can try including the traditional sweets, which are perfect for anyone searching for more fruit based sweets with less sugar (for example churchkhela and tklapi). For all of you that haven't tried any Georgian foods yet I would really recommend you do :)

Lobiani(same as Khachapuri but instead of cheese, it has mashed red beans) and cooked eggplants stuffed with mashed walnuts and garlic are the best. I'm Georgian. Thank you for this video.
