This is useless. I tried it. You literally can't see shit out of that small box with the red dot. This works best with an LPVO. Don't be fooled.

It's definitely not greater than NV. It has its advantages, as does NV. "Both" really is the only answer

@@baconatoromg6062 Both is the only answer. Night vision for navigation and general movements, Thermal for threat detection and ID. Thermal can still see in absolute darkness while night vision will need supplemental light in complete darkness.

About $4000. Something like this used to be $10,000 several years ago, so prices are slowly coming down.

0V is correct. Even with sale prices, $2000 rifle, $4000 thermal, $1000 suppressor, $1500 red dot + magnifier + risers, $3000 laser, $500 light. Could easily be more.

@@mauganra2589the raid x cost a little over 3 k the iray cost 4K aimpoint 800 Magnifier 600 the mounts 350 the switches for his light 200 the damn light itself cost 300 we haven’t even factored in the gun yet lol
