Joshua only fought in December so the fight taking a little bit of time benefits him more than it does Fury who’s been out the ring 14 months. Also the WBO stopped Joshua having to fight Usyk to make this fight. So if the money isn’t there for Fury vs Joshua. Joshua will be able to have a voluntary fight. So it’s win win for Joshua all around. If it’s made he gets the huge payday plus he’s not going to get Fury this inactive again. If it doesn’t happen then he’s got out of is high risk low reward fight against Usyk. Mean while Fury has been kept out the ring waiting for Wilder. Once wilder let the contract expire. Fury was told he could have a tune up in December against Kabayel and then ESPN put a stop to it. Now he’s been close to 5 months and still looks no where closer to getting a fight date. Whether your a Joshua or Fury fan aside. Any unbiased person can understand while Fury is frustrated. Forget all the macho talk from Fury. This fight taking so long only helps Joshua.
