I have to lay this out. I’ve grown up watching and admiring your work. Seeing this just feels as if I’m being brought to somewhere I need to be. Your grandmother Ethel, I remember her from your Kinky Boots dedication for her to proudly watch you from Over The Rainbow. To see the street where your mom was sent to ask for paper towel rolls so you could be the king of a paperboard castle is so heart warming and I can only love you more for it. I’ve had a fair share of chances of meeting you, so I am very apologetic about me being a stranger who’s just laying out a part of her heart that you found your way in and matured with me. I was here from beginning with Band Camps and parodies that I sing instead of the original lyrics on accident and the medleys that I accidentally continue after a song’s cut off. Your work has been there for so much of my life so to see where you started makes it all the more real that you added color to my life in a way I didn’t know a human could. Thank you, Todrick for bringing light to this world in the way you’re meant to; no one in the world’s history, present nor future could do it the way you have done, still do and continue to pursue in this life.
