Arabic is a beautiful language. I'd feel like someone would be blessing me even if they were cussing me out.

I really want to learn Arabic, and I am planning to, as it is somehow in my genes, being from Al-Andalus.

So great of you to mention this side of Arabic language! Every time I listen to Arabic classics I feel the music and the words flowing through my veins.

I love the musicality, the quarter tones in the melody.

There’s no quarter notes in the part played here brother

@@aromafromheaven A thousand pardons, I was not clear. I refer to the microtonal nature of the melody as oppesed to the 12 notes of western music.

Certainly love the "laureling" style you hear in Arabic singing and song (but this is lacking in Maltese which is a derivative of Arabic) The "laureling" style can be also heard in adjacent cultures/languages like Turkish and Farsi (Persian)

because yours is influenced by the northen African variant, not the middle-eastern one.

أعجبني الفيديو كثيًرا. كم اتمنى أن اللبنايين يعيدون إحياء الاسماء العربية لاولادهم وترك الاعجمية، كيف لا وبيروت عاصمة الأدب العربي.

At present, the original Arab culture exists only among the Bedouins of the desert and the people of Yemen, while in Egypt, Syria, Morocco and Iraq, they are hybrid cultures influenced by their neighbors, and each one has its own characteristics that make it an independent culture and an independent language.
