Great general vid, except......British Mandatory Palestine was much much bigger than the map you showed. After WW1 fall of the Ottoman empire British Mandatory Palestine was the modern area of all of Jordan and Israel and Palestinian territories. People constantly confuse these maps and forget to include the area that is the modern Kingdom of Jordan which is about 3/4 of the total land!!

many People think that Jews are the Semites !!!! Semitic people Include Arabs, Assyrians , Babylonians, Phoenicians. major Arab tribes embraced Christianity Ghassinds , Lakhamids , Tanukhids and others. most of thier descendants embraced Islam later on ,but their are still a significant minority . In Lebanon the Christians come from different ethnical backgrounds , Some are Europeans (Greek origin or even descend from the crusaders) , some from Arabian tribes like (Ghassanids) , and the Phoenicians, but they all speak Arabic.
